Situated 5 minutes’ drive from the County Durham coastline, The Seaton Lane Inn features free on-site parking and is just over 10 miles from Durham city centre. Go-karting, paintballing, golf courses and angling are a few of the pursuits available just a few minutes away from The Seaton. Free Wi-Fi is featured in all rooms at Seaton Lane, as well as a private shower room, plasma TV and king-size or super king-size beds. Hairdryers and tea/coffee making facilities are also provided, and there is ground floor accommodation for disabled guests. Fresh market vegetables or homemade chunky chips are served with all meals in the hotel’s restaurant. Fresh produce sourced from local farm butchers and fish suppliers are used to create the dishes on offer. A traditional Sunday lunch is available, as well as a full English breakfast. Sunderland city centre is only a 15-minute drive from the hotel, and junction 62 of the A1 motorway is just 9 miles away.

The Seaton Lane Inn was contemparary, well decorated and very modern. Nice touches with the bergamont shampoo etc in the room. The food was very nice and the staff very friendly. The whole place looked newly decorated but for sure it was done with an eye for quality. The hotel is fantastic value for money. The food is excellent and the staff are fantastically helpful and friendly! I would strongly recommend a stay here if you're near Sunderland. We will definaltely stay if we're up in the North east again.
όλα τα σχόλια » The room and food were exceptional the service was the best I have had in many years I have mobility problems every member of staff was there to help I didn't have to ask for help once they were attentive but not overbearing. very clean & comfortable rooms if a bit on the small side,very friendly staff, excellent restaurant & bar,very good breakfast all cooked to order, very good access for the A19 & The Sunderland Stadium of Light. Everything was just perfect the food was some of the best I've ever tasted Thank you everyone at the seaton lane inn for helpng making my 51 st birthday something I'll remember for a long time c u again soon :-). I was visiting family in Seaham. This hotel was in an ideal location and this is the second visit to the Seaton in recent years. The accommodation is very comfortable, excellent. Lovely hotel in terms of decor and comfort, rooms were clean and nicely presented. The food was excellent and value for money. Really enjoyed my stay and will return. staff were very friendly & welcoming,room was excellent & the food was very good.I would recommend the Seaton Lane Inn to anyone,& definitely use again. The staff are friendly and efficient. The food is of a very high standard. The rooms are clean and well appointed. In a good location. We liked the restaurant (good fresh food in evening and at breakfast)and location.Staff friendly and helpful. Free fast Wi Fi. Stairs to the rooms with all the bags to cart up there but this was the only negative. wifi doesn't work correctly,very small car park which fills up very quickly. No compaints at all. nothing applicable. The hotel doesn't look much from the outside but is lovely inside. There was nothing I can say I didn't like. nothing. As a smoker it was outside again At many places i think its crazy not to have at least a couple of smoking rooms, but here i did not mind so much as hotel was good ... but bare it in mind. nothing. It was a bit noisy - room 18 overlooked garden (used by the smokers) and there was music from the bar which i could hear. (5 hr drive that day meant all I wanted to do was sleep). This would not stop me going back, but I would request a different room next time. It was hard to bring the luggage into the room...too many stairs but when we asked for help, the staff was right there!. Nothing. Just a little bit over priced. My room was very hot overnight. Nothing. Nothing to fault. I would like to have biscuits and tissues in the room. Noise fromevening entertainment in bar area very intrusive when dining in restaurant. Decor in the bar is a little unusual- part American, more city than the country location. Nothing. Nothing. None. Had to go back for a refund as they charged my wife for two nights when we had paid 50% upfront when we booked on line. The hollandaise sauce on the Eggs Benedict. Too much. Why spoil a great dish with a sauce that was like a whole topping?!!. a bit expensive in terms of food. nothing. nothing notable. location food was disappointing - we were expecting more of a gourmet experience. I was booked for 3 nights on the 2/3 day had to have room key card re-programmed ,could have been a bit awkward if we had come back to the hotel in the middle of the night .after 1.00am, when the card was used for entry. Garden view was a bit disappointing!. Was advertised as an extra large double bed when we got a standard double bed.Bathroom and shower enclosure very small.
