Booked through letsbookhotel.com but on arrival we found out that letsbookhotel.com did not forward our details and therefore found that there were no rooms available. The owner and manager went out of his way to find us a local B&B for the first night and luckily had a delux room available for our second night. The B&B was run by his mother-in-law. All staff especially Gary, Donna and Rachel (M.I.l) were exceptional and made our stay absolutely fabulous and would recomend anyone to sta.

After many visit`s to the Lake`s Hazel Bank hotel has been the best. We will be visiting again soon. 10 out of 10 great stay. Gary, the host, his wife and the staff were excellent. They were so attentive without crowding. They made us feel so at home with their personal touches. The location is simply perfect for us being in the most beautiful location on earth. Extremely welcoming, very attentive and a comfortable stay. I find myself judging a hotel on the quality of the breakfast - this definitely passed, particularly the fresh fruit salad. Hospitable friendly atmosphere, excellent food - choice, presentation, and variety. Lovely decor, comfortable rooms, log fire beautiful surroundings. Fabulous location, well appointed rooms and red squirrel watching at breakfast! High quality food and fantastic service too. Donna and Gary were the perfect hosts,staff were very helpful and friendly.and the accomodation was just perfect. Gary was an excellent host, friendly and very knowledgeable about the area. Location and welcome excellent. Nothing!! The room(s), food, location, facilities and all the staff were excellent. Only issue was with letsbookhotel.com. not 1 thing. faultless. After spending seven days we had to go home. Decor maybe not to my taste - but that didn't have any impact on my enjoyment of the stay. Nothing. Pretty much faultless to be honest. absolutely nothing. Nothing. Nothing. There is nothing to dislike. Can't think of anything... Could not control weather for us.
