the hotel was lovely everything we could have asked for, i especially liked the ladies only parking spaces made me feel safer, recommended it to all our cheerleading friends as we enjoyed our stay and for the closeness to the Breahead arena. The Breakfasts are also worth the money. This is one of the nicest hotels I've stayed in for a long time - especially for the price. The room was immaculate, the air conditioning worked and actually kept the room cool or warm which seems to be rare in this country. 1st Class, would thoroughly recommend it. όλα τα σχόλια »
I thought my room was great, really spacious, clean and nicely decorated. The shower room was immaculate, like it had never been used before. I was also very impressed that there was Ladies Only parking right at the door of the hotel. The outstanding feature is the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff. A factor that was of no direct benefit to me but impressed me was the allocation to ladies of the car parking spaces nearest to the door.Very comfortable room and great value for money, was able to check in before the usual time as I was going to a concert and the hotel had pulled out all the stops to ensure the room was ready. The hotel is only 2 months old and everything is new and very clean. There is no bath, there is a large shower cubicle instead which is excellent. The hotel is modern and stylish.The service and friendly staff as well as the price of the rooms at a 40% discount. Size of double bed was brilliant + walk in shower was as an added bonus. everything was great would definatly come back and recommend to others. There was no intrusive noise in our room, which was very comfortable.Handy for Braehead shopping and access to motorway and Clyde tunnel. the friendly staff . Very comfortable and quiet room. I had booked in Feb 08 and asked that my parents had a room next to ours We ended up 3 doors away but origionally I think they should have been on the 1st and we were on the 2nd thats my only fault.When I checked in and my visa was swiped, the cost of my room plus £31 was authorised. When I queried this I was told it would cover any meals or drinks I had. There was no problem and when I checked out the figure charged to my card was the room plus breakfast I had had. I just feel that this first charge could have been explained better. A minor point only, no iron in the room (but hotel staff provided one quite quickly when asked). No washclothes for the face. 1st Floor Fire Doors between floor entrance and our room were not closed when we arrived 2/5 and still open 3/5 when we left - not what Fire Doors are designed for!. It was not very near the airport and there was no curtesy bus to the airport. The room I was in had an adjoining door to the next room which seemed to have a large amount of children in it. Several people were in the car park at about 3am having a fairly loud conversation that woke me up.Was hard to find initially, could see it but took a while to find a way to it... just head for Ikea!. The air-conditioning was not good but we were assured that this was a technical fault in one of the bedrooms and was been attended to. So hopefully on my next visit this will have been fixed.Would have liked a small 2 seater sofa in the exec room instead of one easy chair. There was no trouser press in the room, however when i asked reception for an iron and ironing board, one was bought to my room promptly.Noisy residents. I know maybe ths isn't you fault but are he room sound proofed?. In one room the party before us stole the cable antenna and stripped the wall socket in the process so there was no t.v in the one room, however we were offered a new room to compensate. The only other issue i had was the showers were lovely and i had high hopes because there was a fabulous seat in the shower, but the water pressure was very similar to a trickle!!. Hard to find from M8 exit. Didn't opt for breakfast as thought it was pricey given the advert just around the corner at Ikea for breakfast for 95p.....guess where we went??. Room service but failing that , vending machines of some sort perhaps??. The person on the desk forgot to book my taxi to go to the airport.The resteraunt is rather basic and food not up to much other than micrwav able ready meals. Was a bit hard to find, could be better sign posted.Felt bar was overpriced considering it was located in Scotland. They lost my reservation (lucky they weren't full), the elevator was not working and the a/c was not working. Ask for a quiet room at the back of the hotel (my room was right over the entrance so with the window open, I could hear all the smokers outside and the taxis coming and going.Poor quality of food, would happily pay more for better quality. nothing to amuse children. Bed sheet ripped on double bed!! Had to collect meal from reception as there was no room service. Breakfast selection was limited.
