I was very impressed with the layout of the room (seperate toilet and shower room for 2+ guests, sit down shower/bath for comfort etc) and the colour scheme of the room, the sheets were lovely and the bed was very comfortable. The hotel standards are very high, and very pleased with the staff and the high standard of service.we receiveed, we thought that when Malcome and the Lady retired from the dining hall the standard might not be has good, however you must train new recruites very well as the young staff you now have are just has good, Compliments to the training

The cost compared favourably with an overnight travel lodge but the service received far surpassed what we would have experienced had we used one.

All staff we came into contact with were very polite and helpful. They went out of their way to make sure we had a very enjoyable stay despite us only being there for one night. The hotel grounds are lovely as are the rooms.We will be going back just to try out the restaurant as the little food we did get to try during our stay was wonderful - Alth

The food in the restaurant was excellent and you could not be located closer to the train station if you tried! A clean, comfortable and friendly hotel. Very good value and a great location in Ossett.

Quality. Professional. Commited. Experienced. We would return to this guest house. It was in a very pleasant location. The owners were friendly and helpful. Also, across the road was The Rock Tavern which was very welcoming and friendly. The Carribean food served was excellent. Would go out of our way to eat there again. -
