Superb hotel, the rooms were fantastic and modern incl. leisure facilities. All staff helpful and happy. Only stayed 1 night but will be back for a long weekend. - Fantastic modern hotel with everything you could want for a pleasant stay

It was very convenient for the motorway. It was in a beautiful location with stunning views across the valley. The hotel standards are very high, and very pleased with the staff and the high standard of service.we receiveed, we thought that when Malcome and the Lady retired from the dining hall the standard might not be has good, however you must train new recruites very well as the young staff you now have are just has good, Compliments to the training

The cost compared favourably with an overnight travel lodge but the service received far surpassed what we would have experienced had we used one.

there was a wedding party on when we arrived and meals were not been made but when i asked the manager offered us the same food as the wedding party which was out of this world - Staff were friendly and organised everything for you and hotel bar was open all night to residents, and was really good sized rooms and clean!!!

We had a very friendly welcome. We arrived about 7pm expecting to be able to order a meal, unfortunately they stop serving at 6pm on Sundays (9pm other nights). Seeing how diappointed we were the young woman went to ask the landlord if he could reccomend somewhere or provide a sandwich. Richard very kindly made us fish and chips, which were excellent and so very welcome after a full day on the road.

Comfortable, no hassle, friendly and helpful staff, excellent value - The staff were very friendly, the room was spacious with a fantastic view of the yorkshire dales, breakfast was cooked to order, well presented and not too greasy. Evening meals were adequatly priced, but very tasty and again very well presented
