It is a suite hotel less than a ten minute walk from the main Railway Station and ten seconds off the Royal Mile. 2) Location - There cant be a better hotel than this....superb ! Perfect location - closer to the station. However, you will surely need to take a cab from the Metro to the Hotel (if carrying heavy luggage) 2nd option would be to climb around 108 steps towards the hotel (from the metro station). Taxi would not cost more than 4 Pounds from the train station.

Great hotel with friendly staff. The family room was spacious and comfortable. Breakfast was superb (best porridge I've ever tasted!) Lunch was freshly prepared and good value for money. This was without a doubt, one of the most enjoyable UK stays I have ever had. The hotel exceeded my expectations. The location on the Royal Mile was perfect for our stay, within easy reach of the things we wanted to do. It was easy to drive too, with easy parking behind the hotel. It was also easy to get out of Edinburgh from this location. With this in mind I will be using this hotel again for future visits to Edinburgh. - Interesting food in Tapas style bar.

The staff were extremely helpful and we enjoyed being in the surroundings of the old part of the hotel. It had character as well as having modern facilties. The room was spacious, lovely big bed, bathroom was fab, very clean and very comfortable.The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The location is outside of the city but the bus stops every 5 mins just outside of the hotel so its ideal and you avoid the heavy parking charges for staying in the centre. Breakfast was good with a hot and cold buffet available. We would definatley stay here again.
