I'm on gluten free diet - had no problems whatsoever. The chef even amended the Valentine's Day menu in the Grill Room. All the staff were exceptionally helpful. The rooftop hyropool was wonderful. - The upgrade to our room was very comfortable and appreciated. The staff were all very helpfull and friendly.

We had a perfect stay at the Apex International Hotel. Our room was fantastic with excellent views of the castle and was very clean and comfortable. The staff were extremely helpful and we enjoyed being in the surroundings of the old part of the hotel. It had character as well as having modern facilties. The location was not only ideally central it was also very picturesque being surrounded by the georgian buildings around the square. We look forward to our next stay. - Everything, service,

Definitely best choice for Edinburgh. Have stayed at Balmoral 3 times already, and every time was an exceptionally pleasant experience. Love the superb location, warm and welcoming atmosphere, excellently polite and helpful staff, relaxing SPA area. Strongly recommend Number one restaurant for a delicious haute cuisine dinner.. -

The receptionist was so helpful and nice. The room was very, very clean and welcoming. When we walked anywhere in the hotel the staff were so friendly. We paid the minimum and got the maximum in comfort with a freely given upgrade. The staff were very welcoming and were pleased that we were pleased. Beautiful hotel with a lovely view of the hillside, quiet location yet close to the city centre. The room was clean and comfortable, the staff friendly and helpful. This hotel is like my view of an old hotel should be steeped in history and splendour. Easy hotel to relax in and all personnel were very helpfull - The hotel is set in superb grounds and is remote from the village and very quiet. It has great facilities and the staff are very helpful and friendly.

Thank you - The hotel is in an ideal location if you are not looking to be right in the centre of Edinburgh, the Edinburgh Park Train Station is perfectly located jst behind the hotel and is only 2 stops from Waverly. The dinner in the hotel was lovely as was the breakfast.
