This is an outstanding B&B in a lovely rural setting. It's very close to major roads such as the M8- central Glasgow is only about 15-20 minutes away and Edinburgh is within easy reach.

Everything! Ann and Jim are fantastic hosts. They are friendly and accommodating in a laid back country way.
The finish and style in this purpose-built B&B is first class, and the spacious rooms very well appointed. Immaculately clean and with attention to detail - the rooms are a pleasure to stay in. Add genuinely friendly people and Ann's fantastic cooking and you cannot but have a wonderful stay.

I travel a lot and have stayed at at least 30 different B&Bs in Britain. By leaps and bounds, this one was by far the best (well there was one other near Leeds, I might put in the same league, and wouldn't want to offend).

As 2 mature gay married women, Tina & Graham were 2 of the {but professional} most friendly & sincere people one could possibly meet. Nothing was too much trouble, and the breakfast was fresh and varied. The facilities were superb. A beautiful garden one could sit in, with again, many various areas to do so. Definitely a 5 Star Bed and Breakfast. The owners were good company, the food was very good. The bedroom was roomy and the bed comfortable. The communal room was relaxing. Very roomy accomodation. We stayed two nights and definitely will return and have no hesitation in recommending it.

Bamflatt Farm is, as you'd expect, set in the middle of farmland. We were after a quiet place to stay and we got it. The location is superb and the view from our room looking downriver from the village was inspiring. We checked in to New Lanark Hotel for one night and were upgraded to one of the Waterside, two-bedroom, self-catering cottages. It was a fabulous location, right on the water. The sound of the river was constant, but a lovely and soothing sound. If you don't want to hear the water, this is not the place to be! The walks in the woods are fantastic and the whole complex is definitely worth visiting, especially with the discount for being a hotel resident. They make a real effort to be eco-con

I love how the dakota looks it is a beautiful hotel especially the lounge reception and dining area the staff are always lovely and helpful especially tge receptionist that was on when i arrived at the hotel i think it is really good for business occassions.

The staff were fantastic; they were friendly, welcoming and well presented.
The lounge was tastefully decorated and you could be forgiven for thinking that you were in a boutique hotel rather than a chain.
Our room, while being compact still had a luxurious feel which was great.
I had the full Scottish breakfast which I was very pleased with as it looked appetizing and tasted as good as it looked.
I managed to get a really good rate for our room and a discount on breakfast as we booked online.
