  I cannot praise the Fernbank enough. The owner could not have been more helpful or hospitable. The hotel is beautifully decorated cared for. The public areas were very relaxing to sit in. The room I stayed in was spotless and very comfortable. Although I did not use the pool it was very inviting. Breakfast is served in an airy and light conservato... τι λέει ο κόσμος » ry and there is an extensive choice of continental breakfast followed by a personally cooked hot breakfast. I am quite a fussy traveller and think the - The staff were excellent and made you feel very welcome, nothing was too much trouble for them. The Hotel was furnished well and very comfortable, lovely gardens to relax in if the weather was good and a very nice heated indoor pool. Breakfast was excellent with a big choice and plenty of it. The Fernbank delivers a high quality of service and comfort and we would certainly go back.

  Just about the most faultless experience I have ever had at a hotel. This appears to be a fairly new building with rather uninspiring exterior brick architecture, but internally all fittings are of the highest standards as is the food and the service.The "lakeside" setting (actually an inland tidal tributary) is excellent although I would have pr... τι λέει ο κόσμος » eferred a town location allowing us to walk elsewhere for our evening meal (the hotel food is first class but expensive) - Very relaxing stay at the Lakeside Park, all staff were very friendly, room was very comfortable and clean. Spa area also very clean and facilities good. Breakfast was excellent, something for everyone and plenty of it. The dining area was also spotless and the staff were very friendly, even early in the morning. Would definitely stay there again whilst visiting Isle of Wight
