I was in room 3, which shares a wall with the kitchen (albeit below me) and there was quite a bit of noise from staff radio...I spoke to reception who quickly and efficiently sorted out the problem - couldn't ask for more!

The hotel is ideally situated near the seafront and shopping centre. The owner was very nice and welcoming and the hotel and the room was very clean and homely. Little extras like the bottle of water and nice toiletries made a great touch. The breakfast menu gave great choice and the food was excellent. Would definitely recommend and stay again. -

My stay was only 2 nights but I was very pleased with the hotel,it's location,and also the food (English Breakfast) was 1st Class and prompt service, and served by friendly staff,always happy to oblige customers.I will definitely use it again when in the area and recommend it.

When we booked online we were given a room within the guest house. Shortly afterwards we were called and offered an apartment as the guest house was actually full. explained my uncle who was travelling with me, was 86 and not so mobile, we were put in a new addition to the guesthouse a ground floor flat. Clean, 2 double bedrooms, lounge , kitchen, and an excellant full english breakfast, best £82 spent in a while. A Davidson. p.s our 4th or 5th stay.

We liked the friendly and helpfull staff , and the closeness to the seafront ,also we saw the Red Arrows etc. Brilliant . The staff took the time to talk to us about our needs, especially Parking ./ Food / Distances to local events etc. - Friendly atmosphere, central bueatifully decorated

The proprietors were extremely helpful and friendly. A problem that arose was sorted out without any drama. The breakfast was very good with a choice of toasts, jams etc which could be done to your own taste. I asked for a non butter spread which was quickly produced. I would be happy to return and take my family. There was a quiet and professional air about the staff and accommodation which was welcoming and relaxing especially as I was visiting for a difficult family matter.

The Lodge is very spacious and beautifully furnished with lots of little extra touches to make it like home. Well equipped kitchen. Instant heating when needed (except bathroom). Plenty of seating and tables in the countryside garden. We loved the dual aspect of having a breakfast provided and then able to self cater during the day. This lodge was exceptional value for money. We are already planning our next longer stay.

There was a problem with the bathroom and i was moved to another room immediately without any fuss. Very cold weather and room lodge was lovely and warm and spotlessly clean.
