What a pleasant surprise. We booked this hotel because it had an offer "Best deal" and needed an overnight stay at Stansted. Even though the hotel is ideally situated close to the airport and the M4 no noise could be heard. Brekfast is offered but it has also a great service building right next to it with fast food restaurants, Starbucks and a sup

I was here to attend a wedding a few miles away and so none of your above categories fit at all so I had to pick a box and chose mountains as this is the most unsuitable.The staff were very helpful and although I arrived before official check in time I( was able to check in straightaway. It was a hot day but the air conditioning in the room worked perfectly.The helpful receptionist phoned for a taxi for me.

Lovely location with great sea views. Short walk into Southend itself or longer sea front walk to the very pretty Leigh on Sea. Lots of old pubs with great character here and the old famous "cockle sheds" for fresh sea food. Friendly helpful and informative staff. Brilliant buffet breakfast- lots of choice and food good quality and kept piping hot

Room lovely, quite elegant and very comfortable. Big ensuite- well equipped and lovely deep bath. - our room was spacious, clean and very comforable and had a wonderful view. the staff were friendly and helpfull and the breakfast was perfect.

The hotel was better in reality than the pictures I saw. The room was comfortable, and no chintz and the breakfast was very good.

When we booked online we were given a room within the guest house. Shortly afterwards we were called and offered an apartment as the guest house was actually full. When we arrived we were given keys to a ground floor flat opposite the guest house. It was lovely and spacious. The staff were very nice, Although we were told online there was no break

explained my uncle who was travelling with me, was 86 and not so mobile, we were put in a new addition to the guesthouse a ground floor flat. Clean, 2 double bedrooms, lounge , kitchen, and an excellant full english breakfast, best £82 spent in a while. A Davidson. p.s our 4th or 5th stay.

Because it is right at the airport, we were delighted to find the room very well sound proofed - couldn't hear the planes at all. - We were very impressed with your hotel. The rooms were of an extremelyhigh standard and the cleanliness second to none. The bar area was anenlightening experience observing the hotel staff in the bottle coolerwas one of the highlights of our stay. The car parking staff were veryhelpful. It will certainly be our first choice again if we have an earlymorning flight.

We liked the friendly and helpfull staff , and the closeness to the seafront ,also we saw the Red Arrows etc. Brilliant . The staff took the time to talk to us about our needs, especially Parking ./ Food / Distances to local events etc. - Friendly atmosphere, central bueatifully decorated

We recently stayed here for a wedding in Royston. It was further out than we were expecting and the Hotel staff were very helpful with recommending local cab firms and offering to book for us.
The room we had was in the converted stable block which was large and comfortable and perfectly adequate for our needs.. The bed in particular was huge!

I enjoyed the quiet, friendly atmosphere and the peaceul nights sleep. The food in the hotel was very good and the staff were very friendly and helpful. We choose the Hotel for it's location and value for money and that is what we got. -

Checking in was quick and simple. Staff were friendly and polite. - Room was generally well appointed for a motel style room. Water and heating both worked well. Room service was prompt and food was nicely prepared and hot.
