  I really enjoyed my stay at De Rougemont Manor Hotel. The staff were extremely helpful, polite and friendly. The cooked breakfasts were generous. Everything I used, such as bedroom, washing facilities, were very comfortable and high standard.   What a pleasant surprise. We booked this hotel because it had an offer "Best deal" and needed an overnight stay at Stansted. Even though the hotel is ideally situated close to the airport and the M4 no noise could be heard. The gentleman who checked us in was extremely friendly and courteous. The room and the bathroom were large and the bed comfortable. Definite - I was here to attend a wedding a few miles away and so none of your above categories fit at all so I had to pick a box and chose mountains as this is the most unsuitable.The staff were very helpful and although I arrived before official check in time I( was able to check in straightaway. It was a hot day but the air conditioning in the room worked perfectly.The helpful receptionist phoned for a taxi for me.

  The hotel is ideally situated near the seafront and shopping centre. The owner was very nice and welcoming and the hotel and the room was very clean and homely. Little extras like the bottle of water and nice toiletries made a great touch. The breakfast menu gave great choice and the food was excellent.
