The hotel was beautiful, the setting lovely. There was a wedding taking
place but we were warned. However, it would have been good if we could
have eaten something at the hotel. Maybe ordered takeaway if nothing
else! The staff were extremely pleasant, polite and helpful (especially
Russell who appeared to be on duty throughout our stay!) The room

very clean. We could not hear the wedding which we had been assured of.
Also the rooms were not too hot as in other hotels we have stayed in -
The room we stayed in was a gold room, clearly refurbished to a high standard. Luxurious room with a view out over the gardens and down to the sea. Staff were very friendly and accomodating. Ideally placed for a five minute walk down into the harbour where there is a range of bars and clubs. There is a slight hill walk down and back up to the hotel but we didnt find it that bad although it could be for the less agile. All in all a fantastic stay and we will definitely stay again.

I liked the indoor swimming pool, jacuzzi, sauna, steam room and gym. My wife was also impressed with the spa treatments.
The staff were friendly and helpful.
I liked the fact that we could book an apartment at the hotel, so we could prepare our own meals.

The reception was very welcoming and warm when we arrived. The food was good, we didn't have to wait long for it. The spa was wonderful and the fact that you could walk all around the complex without going outside, really appealed

Our favourite hotel on our trip.We booked a small room with en suite and it was very comfortable. The location of the hotel was brilliant, right on the harbour. Food was great, people were friendly and a very relaxed attitude. We loved Ilfracombe itself, so much to do and see. Plenty on offer for all types of people. Very family orientated and a g

Ideally situated right next to the harbour. Friendly, helpful staff. Lovely breakfast and huge portions. Nothing was too much trouble and even carried our bags up to our room when we said we could manage. Highly recommend paying the extra for a luxury room, the spa bath was fantastic size with plenty of hot water and room for two! Also the huge bed was straight out of fifty shades and really comfy.

The apartments are very well situated in a beautiful area of Plymouth. They have great views of the Marina and they are a lot a superb restaurants surrounding them where you can eat Breakfast, lunch and Dinner if you so desire. Alternatively, the apartments are well enough equipped to enable you to cook anything you desire.
