Located in a lovely valley with beautiful gardens.
The catering options were second to none - breakfast exceptional; dinner and bar snacks excelent value.

We would definately not stay anywhere else on Guernsey, the whole ambience of the hotel was so relaxin -
The hotel is in a truly stunning setting, looking out over a wooded gully, to the sea. Service was good, as was the food at both restaurants - it's well worth a trip to the Rock Garden for a few cocktails, too! Possibly the best hotel we've stayed at in Guernsey. Potential bookers should note that this is NOT in St Peter Port town but a rural location in the parish.

The hotel is simply excellent. Contemporary airy room, superb service, the best breakfast I've ever eaten at a hotel, anything one can ask for :-) Location is brilliant - very close to the harbor, Elizabeth castle and the Jersey eye, 5 min to the city centre. Staff were first class. Location was ideal. Would definately return.

We stayed in one of the cottages which are of a very high standard. Decoration is attactive and there are some lovely touches; comfortable and stylish.
Staff were helpful, responsive and kindly - without being intrusive. We were travelling with my elderly mother and aunt and the team at La Place made everything very easy for us.

I travel a lot and I'm afraid I can be quite picky but have no hesitation in recomm -
Fantastic stay at Hotel La Place, the staff were amazing and couldn't do enough to make sure our stay was enjoyable. We were picked up from the airport and upon arrival out bags and check in were taken care of while we enjoyed complimentary champagne in the bar! We were even lucky enough to have a free room upgrade to the newly refurbished Deluxe room which was beautiful.

Great hotel in a fantastic bay location. We had a lovely sea view room which had a shared balcony overlooking the beach.

A great spot for basing yourself if you want to explore the jersey coastline, the staff were fantastic and really made us feel at home, many locals use the public bar and they are a great bunch, up for a laugh and generally quite tame. The food was excellent, we were trapped there by blizzards for three extra days while the airport was closed and the hotel made every effort to lessen the impact by allowing us free use of their laundry facilities etc. And it has the best duke box in the bar ever

David and Jane were probably the friendliest and nicest B&B owners I've ever met. Had a nice long chat, they offered a glass of wine and they were very interesting people. The room was also very nice and clean. They really helped make my stay in Guernsey memorable and enjoyable.
