Scenic walks can be around the Mill Pond, which is accessible from the bottom of The Coach House Hotel’s lovely garden. There are beautiful beaches within 20 minutes’ drive of this hotel, including Broad Haven South’s beach in the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park. The contemporary rooms have wooden furnishings, as well as a TV with a DVD player and tea and coffee making facilities. All rooms also have an en suite bathroom with a hairdryer.

The staff were all really friendly, chatty and helpful. Our coach arrived late on the first day so we missed the food serving time, but they offered to make up plates of sandwiches and chips for us (unprompted), which was lovely. The breakfast menu had lots of options. My partner had a different dish each morning (waffles, smoked fish etc), whilst I had a full cooked breakfast - we both really enjoyed the food. We also ate in the restaurant one evening, and the food was yummy with huge portions.

Cooked to order and my husband had dietary requirements which they were very happy to cater for. The whole atmosphere of the hotel was warm and friendly and we both agreed that we spent one of our best holidays at The Coach House. We have already recommended the hotel to 2 of our close friends. The Coach House is now essentially a modern but relaxed restaurant space well used by the locals the evening we were there, plus a small pre-meal (intimate) bar area.. Honest food at honest prices, and reduced evening hours . Most bedrooms are in the new annexe at the rear: ours had a bath with shower over which we prefer. Very clean. Very friendly & helpful staff. Good location, food was very good & good portions so much so that we didn't have room for a dessert. Note to owner!! Very convenient location for the Ferry . Have stayed there during the summer, hence the return visit & would definitely recommend it. Modern good on- suite rooms situated behind the pub away from any road noise. Staff very friendly and helpful. The restaurant and tables were tastefully decorated and the food was beautifully cooked at a reasonable price. The cooked breakfast is huge, no need for lunch. As a former resident of Pembroke visiting after many years' absence, I was already well aware of the Coach House and chose it mainly for its location and convenience. The room was a decent size, facilities and hospitality were excellent. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay,. The room was spacious, and very clean and comfy. The staff remembered us and what we liked to drink, and were very friendly. Food was top quality, and room service wait was next to nothing! All in all a top quality stay and will definitely be staying here again!. Warm clean and comfortable,very welcoming.friendly and efficient staff go out of their way to please.fresh towels daily.Excellent breakfast a feed to last until evening.evening meals delightful.would definately go again and recommend to friends.A real treat!. The politeness and helpfulness of the staff. We found the breakfast overwhelming - too much and,as a result,looking rather a mess. The evening meal was much better but to have the same choice on both evenings was not to our liking. More imagination needed. . The staff were extremely friendly and instantly made you feel at home, the room was beautiful and had everything we needed. We had our evening meal and breakfast at the hotels - both were delicious and I would visit again in a second. The staff were very helpful and friendly. We both loved are time there what was 4 nights. And will be staying there again next year. The barafundle bay what is only about 20 minutes away is the best beach in are country I would say. Stayed in preparation for Ironman Wales. Would definitely recommend this for anyone looking to do the same. The staff couldn't have been more helpful allowing guests to dictate pre race food and laying on breakfast at 4am. This is a first Class Hotel, Friendly Staff , Well located, Good Value for money and the Breakfast would compete with a Five Star Hotel. I had one evening meal at the Hotel which again was first class. Highly Recommended. The staff were helpful and friendly. Dinner was one of the best of our trip. A good roast with plenty of veg. Felt like home there. Pembroke Castle is 10-minutes walk, beautiful countyside all around. Had a time of my life!. The staff were brilliant and very friendly. Pembroke itself was lovely to walk around and the surrounding area was beautiful. Would recommend the Stackpole Inn for a nice meal and Broad Sands beach is lovely. Staff very helpful, friendly, my reason traveling to this town was to meet relatives that I have never meet, they lived within walking distance from the coach house. very clean and modern, big off road parking, walking distance to the river ,castle etc, friendly, my wife was impressed with the room have paid more for a lot less!. No French wine listed so drank Italian with meal. The car park entrance is at present on the east side but soon to be transferred. Pembroke main street is one way, requiring detour around the south side Commons when approaching from Tenby etc. No heating in the bedroom when we went in eventhough it was cold outside, & one of the windows was open . We told the owner & she said the heating should be working.We tried the control but still didn't work. If we were staying longer than one night we would have made sure the room was warm. Room 12 the Lino in the bathroom was lifting and there was a strong smell of mold. Nothing really, you don't expect 5-star luxury in this type of hotel but I have visited a number of similar places in recent years and the Coach House is at least as good as any of the others that I have stayed at. The only negative is that the walls are fairly thin, but nobody was overly noisy and we didn't even really notice it!. if i was being picky side entrance to car park quite narrow but leads to a large car park with nice views. The breakfast obviously, especially as there was little choice of fruit and there were no kippers! Haddock and poached egg do not go together as far as we are concerned.Our second evening coincided with a rather large birthday dinner and, as a result the service was poor - we felt neglected and had to wait ages. Indeed we left before ordering the desert for no one came to take our order and after being neglected for over half-an-hour we left.More staff required!. Nothing to not like. Leaving. Internet did not always worked in the hotel room but was perfectly fine down at reception. Not a big deal. And Barafundle Bay is not 40-minute walk on foot as they say )) It's more like hour and a half. The air conditioning unit to the kitchen was noisy (our room was near and above the kitchen. There were roadworks on the main road outside, but to be honest we were out of the hotel most of the day so it was only a little disconcerting when we first checked in. Didn't take away from our stay at all. Breakfast times could have been extended especially on Sundays. just a small point, we were in the new annex . entry is by metal stairs these are a bit noisey with other quest movments, perhaps rubber treads would help?. Agree with previous guest about the steep incline at entry to the car park. N/A. Beds a bit soft but otherwise fine. Loose door hinge made closing the ensuite door difficult. The bathroom had a damp smell about it but as long as we kept the door shut it was OK. no faults. Nothing. The car park is a bit 'rough' but there are bit alterations going on so hopefully it will improve. service at breakfast was only fair. Bedroom walls are thin, we could hear what was going on in adjacent rooms. Lumpy pillows Breakfast finished too early at 9am, would like it to have been 10am which would give us a little longer in bed at the weekend. Noting to dislike. Car park hard to get to at first But once you were used to it Was ok. Must admit all the road Works out front didn't help . room a little noisy from rooms above. Food could be improved. Trivial things such as tv interference at times. Very thin walls to room. nothing.
