It was so very quiet even although our room was on top of the bar and on
Saturday nights is quite a lot of people in the bar even when the people
where leaving after time I was quiet and I do know about this kind of
thing as we did stay above a bar for 17 year in Edinburgh in Leith walk
which is much more lively then this place and open much more later 2 o
clock in the morning so this inn was like heaven honest. Also we did
like how the owner did attend my problem that I did have with the showe. όλα τα σχόλια »
The Hostel is on the second floor of a pub. When we came we enter directly into the pub. We got a bit scared because the atmosfere seemed not to be good. However the room was very confortable and clean, except by the smell in the bathroom. We have no idea why, but it smelled vinager. Overall it was worth it.
The location was good, easy to find and park the car. They were children friendly. We were travelling with our little one and a cot was prepared as well as a highchair for breakfast. Room was clean. Breakfast was good. Was satisfied with our stay there.
The hotel was in a good location, clean and pleasant with friendly staff. The food was fantastic. A bit apprehensive with it being a "pub", but no worries on that score, friendly quiet place to relax and enjoy the area from. Would definitely recommend.
friendly cosy inn with good selection of beer and whiskies, good breakfast and evening meals.Staff friendly although mix up in our booking (we wanted two single rooms) were able to give us a room with twin beds and a discount ,so very helpful.
Was a bit worried about it bei g a pub , but didn't need to as no noise at all. It was so upto date . Decor was modern. Very clean , food was fantastic , very pleasant staff , would recommend this to anyone.
the meals we had both nights were excellent and the breakfast a good mixture and the coffee was good.. we were right next to the bus station and this was good for us as we left our car and took the bus.....
The beds are wonderfully comfortable, the breakfast delicious, the room better than expected for the price & the staff friendly, efficient and helpful - what more could you ask for?.
I think the Inn punched above its weight. The accommodation was well maintained and kept in good order, beds made up each day.
Breakfast was good and staff friendly.
Friendly staff, very comfortable bed, good tray of tea/coffee biscuits, excellent breakfast, plenty of hot water, good price, free wi-fi in room.
I stayed as a stopover before catching an onward flight at Inverness. Perfect for food, sleep and staff could not have been any more helpful.
I always stay at the Albert Inn when working in this area, good clean rooms and welcoming staff. The meals are excellant.
Location as very central, food was fabulous at lunch time and superb breakfast. Black pudding was best I have has.
The informality was good while the room was very comfortable - especially the bed.

Good position.
Food was excellent. The cook should be working in a much nicer place as he is a master - we were surprised at how good it was. Also wifi in room was good and fast.
The Guy who served the breakfast was really nice, so was the breakfast.
breakfast was fine infact pretty good.
The food in the inn was good.
Central location.
nothing.
Nothing.
I didn't like that the house keeper didn't stock up on coffee
and tea milks ect:- and toilet rolls and that you really have to go down
to the bar to ask for them from the bar tender and in front off some of
the bar customers a bit of a red face. Otherwise every thing was bril.
The bathroom smells vinager!.
In shower there was only hot water running.
poor shower , only a trickle of water . although new bathroom fittings, they were not secured fully.
The stairs were narrow and not so wide, but we got the bags up them ok.
NOt much to dislike at all.
Water pressure in shower painfully slow (but at least it was nice and hot), toilet not very clean.
Could deal with a paint especially the stairs area. New carpet on stairs too. Room clean, nice but needs a lick of paint.
Some parts of the decor could use an update ie; stairs leading to rooms is a hazard.
being told what was not on menu leaving limited choice for evening meal.
problem with door lock on room.
Traffic noise from main road.
Shower wasn't great.
Room could have been cleaner.
no complaints.
Smell of drains in the en-suite
Damp smells in hall and stairs.
needs a tidy up but our room had been redone fab.
No dislikes.
Bathroom a little cramped.
The narrow stair was difficult to negotiate with luggage. No reception area.
Right on the main Inverness road 18hr traffic etc- Newly fitted Bath room-- But Bed Room badly in need on refurbishment!!!.
No accessability to a plug at the dressing table, socket for the kettle unusable, key to lock room door very fiddley to lock properly and very noisy when next door used extractor in their bathroom, all ot hese could be easily remmodied.
One of the mattresses in my Twin room, had seen better days, very lumpy, and uncomfortable.
Nothing.
Lock on door was extremely difficult to use to the point if staff had not been available we would have been locked out of our room.
Flies all over the place, boiling hot in the room. Virtually no water coming out of the shower - worst shower I've ever experienced. Place was a bit run down and in need of upkeep.
The bathroom was dirty
The light next to the miror was not plugged (électric wires visible)
Very strong smell of fried chips in the room We hard to sleep with the window opened.
washing facility was very poor shower not working correctly there was no air con or even a fan and the window would not open which is dangerous.. the room swelltering and uncomfoertable.
There was not cleaned up, the room was really dirty and shabby? The whole building needed renovation.
Over powering smell from the drains in the shower room.
Sink was in the room which was inconvenient.
Quite a bit of noise from other guests due to thin walls.
water leakage (somewhere) in bathroom.
dreadful experience. worth avoiding.
Everything.
