An ideal place for an overnight stay in a business-orientated environment.
Free/easy parking
lovely grounds/neighbourhood
Good and relaxed bar
Excellent breakfast (starts 7am)
Village is v attractive and has several eating and drinking options on foot.
V good value compared to alternatives in Heathrow/M4 area.
The location, and very close to Cookham Centre - walkable to where we were going .
Interesting landscaping .
Breakfast was good .
All in all a nice place - good value but could be better given it`s location etc. όλα τα σχόλια »
Pleasant, relaxed atmosphere. Good breakfast in spacious, attractive restaurant overlooking gardens. Very convenient location close to Cookham village and walks along the Thames.
I enjoyed the layout of the gym, business centre, bar and resteraunt around the courtyard,
The staff were always friendly and very helpful.
Nice town, good walk by the river.
Good value for money (£68 B&B). Nice breakfast. Staff very helpful.
Very good pub across the road (excellent food). Easy parking.
Nice room, lovely food and not too expensive. Staff were great and would talk to you. Definitely would stay again.

Functional if a little lacking in atmosphere. Village is very nice with good retaurants.
Friendly, helpful staff. Very nice surroundings, very suited to the business traveller.
Convenient. It is student accommodation and doesn't pretend to be anything else.
Nice surroundings and very relaxing,
Room was clean and functioned.
Location, friendly staff on reception.
Location and staff friendliness.
Clean & tidy.
Breakfast
Beer.
Location.
Not a pleasant experience, the manager did call afterwards to apologise
and provide a refund.
Theu surroundings and local village.
Surroundings.
Nothing at all.
Rooms are too small for couples.
Rooms are 'student hall' type (albeit ensuite and with all hotels mods and cons) but are not well soundproofed and corridor not carpeted and doors not 'cushioned'. Fine if it's not busy (as in my case)...
Bedrooms nice but a bit cramped .It is the home of the Marketing Institute and used as their training centre - this is very apparent and it feels more "Institution" than "Hotel" - especially when we couldn`t get back into the site at around 1am ! - we had to phone reception to get someone out to unlock the gate -what if we didn`t have a phone ?
All minor criticisms really.
Room was small for two people, with bed against wall. It was also very hot, even with window wide open, though staff did offer to try to change it if we found it intolerable. No information such as menus or prices provided on catering apart from breakfast. Loud music in restaurant was annoying.
Walk between room and bar/restaurant - nice in Summer, not in
Winter. Only bar meals available (hence the pub across the road).
The sign outside should say that the Hotel is in the conference centre. A little confusing when you get there and it is a conference centre.
Stayed on Sunday, no bar and few facilities available on site.
Lack of hot water for morning shower.
Nasty crack in toilet bowl.
Rooms were small, but had everything we needed.
Lack of space.
Room temperture, although admittedly our stay was during a particularly hot spell and a fan was provided.
Had to order towels and cup for extra person, but these did arrive quite promptly.
Site/gardens need some tlc.
room to small; breakfast finishes to early for leisure guests- 9.00 theoretically.
Poor sound insulation between rooms.
Rooms very hot in warm weather.
a wardrobe that doubled as a room heater.
1 Rooms too hot. Had to change room but second one still too hot.
2 No air-conditioning in rooms,
3 Rooms too small, certainly for a prolonged stay,
4 Desk in room too small to work from,
5 Doors to restaurant locked when we needed an early breakfast and getaway.
Standard of bedroom
Bathroom poor condition shower soaked the floor, bathmatt tired and grubby - needs serious investment and refurbishment. Poor ironing facilities (board & iron).
Rooms are very cramped.
Rooms are very tired and in need of redecoration. Loo nastily stained under the rim which you see if you look to the bathroom while sitting at the desk. Musty smell in bathroom, flooring shabby and lifting round the bath.
Room was small and warm.
Long walk to the rooms.
The shower was substandard, the room very small and too hot.
Bedroom very hot, shower not very good. Breakfast was cold.
Draughty Room (windows) - stayed in different rooms on occasion and similar.
Too hot,restaurant closed.
Room was very hot Breakfast self service would like the toast & coffee served.
Rooms were freezing, decor is awful and needs totally refurbishing,
bathroom shower head was mouldy, bath side was coming away, shower
curtain clung to you whilst showering.
The room was awful, old fashioned, dreary, tired, the shower was rotten, bed and pillows were poor. I stayed in room 16 on business and i will not be recommending this to me colleagues.
Chap on reception was on his mobile while I was booking in on Tuesday
evening, very rude.
Rooms were far too hot, device under TV gave out heat even when switched off.
breakfast was ok but evening meal wasn't great.
No atmosphere very focused on delegate - company business, the only thing missing where search lights and towers.Room very small (£88) was not satifactory at all will not recommend to my business contacts l.
