Very good value for money. Lovely flowers and chocs in room on arrival, food was excellent (our compliments to the chef and staff) and a lovely location. The Cambrian is right in the middle of Llangollen...a 2 min walk from the main street. It has its own secure car park.
The owner was helpful and friendly and breakfast was good. OK the decor is a bid dated but NOT tatty/grubby, it's no boutique hotel but that was of no concern to me! The whole place is very clean and the bed was comfy.

The owners of Cambrian house are so welcoming and friendly with good knowledge of the surrounding areas. Breakfast was lovely and everything you coul possibly want if available There is no doubt that the building needs some attention, but for the cost an location it's well worth a stay.

We had dinner in the Royal Hotel Restaurant. it was very enjoyable good steak and the wine wasfirst class. - The staff were extremely friendly and helpful and the hotel was a perfect location for our stay. We found our room to be spacious and the view of the river was excellent. Would definitely stay here again.

The cottage was stunning, views were amazing, very close to Llangollen, clean, well equipped and great value for money. Me and the Mrs went to watch the downhill race, was perfect for it. -
The views were fantastic, cottage was very clean, comfortable and well equipped. Close enough to the village but far enough away, and fantastic surroundings!

the Hotel is very old and it rests at the side of the river Dee. The food in the hotel is fab they have the Best Chef ever. The double rooms have a lovely balcony looking out to the river it is lovely. We got the best bargain so so cheap - we loved loooking out of our window looking at the river, and our room was so comfortable. my mother had just

My husband and I were going to a funeral the following day and wanted a peaceful place to stay.
We found all staff friendly, our room overlooked the river which made our stay tranquil. Nothing was too much for staff.
The breakfast was 5 star - excellent, hot, hot, hot. The staff in dining room were very efficient.
I would stay again for the location and the effeciency on requirements.

I can't say enough nice things about this place. I got a virus on my first day so spent more time than intended in the accommodation.

Great size room, very clean. Kids loved the lounge room with the huge selection of games for them to play. Great to have the use of a very clean , fully equipped kitchen too. Would definitely recommend to others and use again ourselves.

This very old pub is in the centre of town, and the hosts are very
helpful and friendly. I was upgraded to the top room in the building
because it was Sunday and the lounge was closed on that day, so if you
are looking for an extra large room, that was it, as it had a large

The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, complete with an enormous flat-screen tv. The staff were friendly and helpful. The restaurant served delicious and interesting food. Gales is centrally located in the town of Llangollen, which is incredibly charming, with plenty of opportunities for hiking nearby. Great overall experience.

It is a very beautiful place to stay , we stayed in the luxury suit with roll top bath in looking over the river dee it was overall a stunning place to stay and will be returning -

The food was fantastic with an extensive wine list and well stocked bar, the staff were delightful, the views from the rooms were incredible, the surroundings were interesting with plenty to do within walking distance and a short drive away, the room was warm and welcoming, the sheets were pristine, flowers included in our package were from a well

Beth sent explicit instructions on how to get to the B&B when we booked, just as well as it would be a bit hard to find otherwise. However once you get there it is certainly worth it. We stayed in the annex which was both comfy and we'll appointed. The freshly squeezed apple juice from their own trees was fantastic. Very accommodating hosts.
