Gareth & Claire where the perfect hosts.
We arrived early, but was shown our room (suite) by Gareth, and was given our key so we could come and go at our leisure once the room was ready.
Gareth gave us loads of information, as to sites & attractions that we may wish to visit whilst in the town.
Gareth & Claire had already recomended some restaurants to eat in on an evening, via email prior to our stay. The restaurant we chose was perfect for the occasion (My birthday).

It's hard to decide when you find an absolutely splendid Guest House, whether to share it with others or keep it to yourself. This applies without reservation to The Cliffbury. It cannot be faulted and although I'm risking my chances of finding a vacancy next time I book, it's a chance worth taking if other establishments are encouraged to up their game to this standard of cleanliness, comfort, cuisine (albeit just breakfast - I'm hoping an evening meal option could be added) and politeness.
The warm welcome. The help with the suitcase. The initial overview of the arrangements for each day and for our stay. The hotel has been furnished and decorated to a high standard and our room was really very comfortable and each day there was a choice from a varied menu for breakfast.
Gareth & Claire the hosts pay attention to detail and it is this that makes this B & B a level above all others. The place is spotless, extremely clean and very well organised. It was a pleasure to stay the two nights. Though we never saw Claire her breakfasts were commendable.

Excellent friendly service right from the start of our stay, nothing was
too much trouble for Gareth and Claire. They gave us very good
information on local places to dine (which were all top notch) and their
breakfast was superb. Highly recommend the home made Bara Brith.
This is the second time we have stayed at The Cliffbury, we were visiting family. We were given a lovely welcome. Rooms are spotlessly clean with everything you could possibly need. Breakfasts are lovely with homemade marmelade. Would always choose to stay here.
We liked everything. It's closeness to all amenities, the owners, the impeccable attention to detail, the food, the cleanliness, the welcome, the friendliness of the owners. Beautiful place and would recommend everyone tries The Cliffbury, Llandudno.
An excellent guest house with friendly and helpful owners. Extremely
comfy and clean. A very good breakfast and lovely homemade orange
marmalade. The location is very convenient, close to town and promenade
but still peaceful. Highly recommend.
Absolutely fantastic! Gareth and Claire are the perfect hosts! Made us feel very welcome. Nothing too much trouble. Guest House is immaculate! Breakfast was superb! This has got to be the best B&B in Llandudno by far! We will be back!.
I was advised that this might be a good place to stay when unable to book into our normal B&B. This is sometimes fraught with dangers, but the recommendation was rewarded by the very good standard of the room and the breakfast.
We found it to be breakfast wise on a par with friends hotel in Southport, but high standard of deco throughout. Gareth & Claire excellent hosts in every way possible, this is definately our new hotel for Llandudno. Brilliant.
A great and high class B&B in the middle of LLandudno. You can reach everything from here. The owners, Gareth and Claire, were great hosts. Gareth was the best tourist information in town.
The room was perfect and great.
the room was spacious with its own sitting room. this and the decor made it five star along with the freshly bought and cooked breakfast. the owners were extremely helpful. the atmosphere was homely but one felt pampered.
Everything was excellent. The breakfast was very generous. It was warm
in our room with very good facilities. Parking on site was easy &
safe, compared with some places where the car has to be left on a
public street.

Lack of dinner option.
One small gripe. We had a twin room (single beds). The duvet needed to have been a little wider so hanging down the sides of the bed a little. The inevitable happened whenever you turned over.

I think things might be improved were there not a request to order breakfast the day before. Sometimes it is not always easy to know what one would like in the morning on the evening before.
The shower was very small and the hot water system quite a mystery. The breakfast booking note was not working it was meant to be. Waited half an hour for the cooked breakfast. The breakfast room was quite small.

A little far out of the centre, but that us purely personal preference, my husband didn't gave a problem with the walk into town.

One minor criticism was the limited space in the shower stall and the lack of water pressure. However that shortcoming would not dissuade us from staying there again or recommending it to friends.
