Beautiful hotel with a lovely view of the hillside, quiet location yet close to the city centre. The room was clean and comfortable, the staff friendly and helpful. reception open 24/7 gave me complete flexibility in my arrival/departure times. Lucien on reception was very helpful and friendly. the room and its en suite shower and toilet were spotless. the bed was comfortable the room was a nice warm temperature. - friendly staffs,warmly bedroom and my friends and i all love this city~people are all very nice

Staff very helpful, we left our bags in hotel until check-in and were able to have late check out for only £20 extra. Breakfast on go great idea and great value for money. Will definately be back as perfect for train station and shopping.

The bar man was lovely and the rooms were large with comfortable beds. Excellent hotel would definatly stay again!

the room was superb, staff were more than helpful,especially the porter who looked after our luggage, plus whilst being unwell on my first night, I rang reception for some blankets and they brought them straight up to my room. Thankyou very much x - We inquired about various resturants in the area which was described to us by the porter in great de

We paid the minimum and got the maximum in comfort with a freely given upgrade. The staff were very welcoming and were pleased that we were pleased. The bed was extremely comfy the room was fantastic. The location is excellent. Not one negative comment from this satisfied customer. The facilities/pool etc are lovely. - Great presentation, friendl

The hotel was very comfortable and welcoming. Soft leather chairs and twinkly lights. The room was excellent with quality fittings and nights sleep. No noise at all through to the room and it was Christmas party time.
Continental breakfast was really wholesome so much so that my husband didn't miss his usual cooked breakfast.

The hotel is an excellent example of how to restore an old building (with history) into a very comfortable & friendly place to stay. We found the staff to be very helpful & welcoming. The dinning experience in the restaurant could not be faulted.
I liked the idea of the room names (but would have liked the names to have some relation to the buildings history).

We've stayed at Hotel Indigo in Glasgow which is fabulous and the Edinburgh one did not disappoint either. Location is perfect. They are installing tram lines in the street but it still has access if you are arriving by car or taxi. Its a short walk to Waverly Station and all main tourist attractions can be reached by foot if you like to walk.
Room was excellent, breakfast was great. Did not try the restaurant at night but menu looked good and fairly priced.
Staff were all very friendly and attentive.
A little bit pricey but for a stay during the Festival it was fairly priced compared to other optio

This was without a doubt, one of the most enjoyable UK stays I have ever had. The hotel exceeded my expectations.
