  The whole Hilton, paddington experience for my girls weekend was fabulous, stepping off the train and straight in, check in, leave luggage with sweet gentlemen in reception and when we got back and went to our room, it was beautiful, spacious, newly decorated, new, clean, and the bathroom was gorgeous, first class. There are a variety of restaurants near the hotel including Chinese, Indian and Greek although since we weren't too hungry we picked up a sandwich and dessert from the M&S in Paddington Station and ate it in the room.   Great hotel! it's a lot of years that i go to London and i never see a hotel like this! All very clearness, up to the britain standard. We can enter in our rooms with magnetic cards key, it is very useful. The rooms are fantastic, all in mahogany wood with a large lcd tv on the wall.   There was four of us staying here - 2 couples. The apartment was just lovely. Very modern. The location was perfect for our stay, so close to the train station and walking distance to Hyde Park. The sofa turned into a sofa bed and extra bedding was in the wardrobe in the top bedroom.   I was relocated to the Mayfair apartment as their booking engine double booked at the Sussex Garden apartments ... Having arrived later in the evening from Milan, it was a very pleasant experience dealing with Claire ( or Miss "No Smoking") who made all the arrangements for transfer, was totally professional and reassuring... I would have been happy in the apt - A great central location close to travel facilities. It was clean, a good size with everything needed to look after yourself for any length of time. There was even coffee, tea, sugar and fresh milk provided for us on our arrival. We also enjoyed the fact that our room had a balcony which we could sit on at the end of each long day and chill out with a drink whilst watching the traffic and people pass by.
