  Staff, just incredibly welcoming and accommodating, stayed with a girlfriend as our flight was cancelled. We are both straight and hadn't realised this was a gay friendly venue, but that made our evening all the more interesting. The drag act was excellent haven't laughed that much in years.   I liked that it was always clean everywhere and that the staff were always so nice and helpfull. I also liked that the hotel was open 24/7 so you didn't have to worry about getting back there too late. Another thing that I appreciated were the guards outside when it got late, because it felt more safe. All in all I'm very happy with my stay there and I'd recommend The Generator to anyone going to London - The bar in the hostel is awesome. The general atmosphere of the place is great - definitely the way to go if you want to meet other young people and have a damn good time. Drinks prices in the bar weren't too bad - £2.20 on all drinks (except doubles!) and the kareoke was fun. Staff were very friendly too.

  The hotel is super clean, both rooms and shared bathrooms. It has a beautiful green terrace and nice breakfast. Very close to metro station and the center of London. Staff is very kind, they allowed us to leave our staff in the hotel before check-in and after check-out free of charge.
