I very much liked the friendliness of the staff. All were polite, helpful and welcoming.
After a very long walk one morning, I arrived back at the hotel half an hour after breakfast ended, but even so, the chef was more than happy to make me some food - I really appreciated it.

The food, which was so good I didn't bother going anywhere else for dinner.
The heated towel rack in the bathroom, which meant all my wet things dried!
The location in Keswick, which is ideal for a non-driver.
General comment: I spent 12 nights there and couldn't have been happier.

The property was convenient and clean. The staff were all so helpful and friendly. The view along the park and river is beautiful. We loved it and would definitely suggest the place to others. We parked right along the road by the hostel. -

It is a lovely Guest House in a very good location. Maria & Mary were very friendly and helpful in every way. Our room was a good size with bay windows overlooking the hills in the distance. The breakfast was superb with a wide variety of food to choose from. Would definately recommend to anyone except those who had difficulty with steps or

Everything. Clean spacious room. Tea coffee biscuits all provided. Bathrobes as well. Ensuite was spotless. Connor nd his mum were excellent hosts. The breakfast was excellent with a choice of fresh fruit cereals. And a full English . Parking was outside the hotel. All in all an excellent weekend was had. Highly recommend this guest house .

Three of us stayed for 2 nights and had a blast. Never been to the Lake District before yet alone Keswick. Danny and Bernie made the trip a pleasure and were very helpful with local knowledge. Great town but better accommodation. Large bed in main room and single bed in second bedroom giving 16yo daughter her privacy. Lounge downstairs if you need your own time otherwise a plethora of pubs, attractions to do whilst you are there.

It's a friendly, well-situated B&B with nice staff and a good location. There are nice pubs everywhere, and it's hardly any distance to the bus stop, so that puts the fells and lakes within easy reach. We recommend this hotel. One last hurrah for the breakfasts: if you stayed for a week, you could have a different choice every day. -

The owners were friendly and welcoming. I appreciated the hairdryer and tea/coffee making facilities. Also, a great breakfast with locally sourced produce.

Everything. We go to The Lakes often, but had not stayed in Keswick. The location, staff, room (very spacious) and facilities were very good indeed. We really look forward to returning soon to The Skiddaw Hotel. - Central location, high standard of accommodation, friendly staff.

The friendly owners Geri and Trevor made us feel so welcome, from the
moment we arrived. They were happy to help us in everyway to ensure our

The hosts Gerry & Trevor were very welcoming and always happy to help and advise on trips/days out/walks etc. offering plenty local knowledge which was very helpful. The whole B&B was spotlessly clean with added extras in the room eg bottled water, cotton buds, tissues. Breakfast offered a wide choice from fresh fruit and cereal to a full english and it was all fresh and delicious.
