  The owner, Chris, was extremely nice, friendly and helpful with whatever I needed, e.g. fixing immediately a window a bit hard to close, doing whatever he could to prepare an espresso (he did not have any in the house that morning so he went to get some from his own house). It only takes few minutes to the river and the center of the town. We hope to exprience the other rooms next time. My six years old daughter likes the hotel best during the 12 days' travel in UK.

  This was my third stay at the Varsity and I can't wait to go back. The location is perfect, it's right beside the river, very close to the main shopping area and the beautiful buildings of the University. The staff are very friendly and helpful throughout the hotel.
