  The apartment was very comfortable, quiet and well located near the train station and the city center. The neighborhood appeared friendly and safe. There are many shops just a short walk away. It was also easily accessible, even for my dad who has reduced mobility. The apartment is equipped well enough for cooking a meal.   We paid the minimum and got the maximum in comfort with a freely given upgrade. The staff were very welcoming and were pleased that we were pleased. The bed was extremely comfy the room was fantastic. The location is excellent. Not one negative comment from this satisfied customer. Ideally placed for us, as we were attending the March & Rally for Scottish Independence on Calton Hill that weekend.   Absolutely wonderful place to stay!!! We came with a 4 month old, and they could not have been more accommodating! It was raining and they even lent us umbrellas for the day. The room was wonderful, clean and the staff were beyond nice. I would recommend this place to stay for anyone visiting Edinburgh.   The location on the Royal Mile was perfect for our stay, within easy reach of the things we wanted to do. It was easy to drive too, with easy parking behind the hotel. It was also easy to get out of Edinburgh from this location.
