Very well appointed room - exceedingly comfortable bed - great value for money and a superb breakfast - accomodating and very pleasant staff - Freindly staff, comfortable good sized rooms and a hearty breakfast, all at a reasionable price. What more can you ask for?

The staff were excellent over my 2 day stay. The food was delicious and
good value which isn't always the case for hotels. The rooms were

The room was clean and smart. The fact that we could choose and buy films to watch was good.The breakfast choice was excellent and the fact that we could choose how much and what we wanted to eat. The staff were friendly and helpful.

The location and especially the lawn/gardens at the rear - a real
delight in the spring/summer. A real treat for our bedroom (112) to

Staff at hotel were so helpful and went out of their way for us.. Breakfast was really good with a lot of selection of choices and meals in evening and were very reasonable in price as were bar drinks in prices as well. Room was spacious and very clean and comfortable and quiet.

I enjoyed the atmoshpere as well as there attention to detail. Very friendly staff who is always prepared to assist. Imaculate house on a cozy street that literally, takes you back in time. The hotel has a very welcoming atmosphere. The room was clean and quiteluxurious, the lounge and bar so comfortable to relax in, a fabbreakfast is served in the morning, and the hotel sports a spectaculargarden should you wish to sit outside. For the website price it is a great venue for any celebration - rooms are fine and spacious - if you can't stomach the 13 quid breakfast then theres a sainsburys close with a new cafe in development (!) Have been to a wedding and a ball at this hotel and both do's have been good - bar staff nice afterwards - Very clean and good standard of furnish

I really enjoyed my one night break here. When I arrived, all reception
staff were occupied but my presence was acknowledged and I was checked
in efficiently. My room was on the top floor, small but a nice size for

Yes the hotel is slightly tired, but in a quaint way, felt very homely and personal, much like the staff, very helpful and polite.
The broadband is quite limiting, many words are banned. even sensible ones that I needed for work, but not a real issue.
Breakfast was excellent & service quick and friendly, a good choice of hot & cold.

When we arrived at the hotel we were greated at reception by happy friendly staff. The quality and presentation of the hotel was outstanding. My husband and I only stayed for one night but it was a very pleaurable stay in a beautiful clean and spacious room. Breakfast was very nice and certainly set us up for a good start to the day.

Everywhere was clean and tidy. All the staff were impeccably turned out, polite and helpful. The room was spacious, comfortable and clean. The bathroom was clean and the shower was lovely and powerful. The bed was massive!!! The bedding was clean and fresh.

Impeccably clean, tasteful, unfussy and well run, with every consideration given to providing for the comfort of guests; we saw that business people, families, a young couple, as well as us oldies were equally happy. Close to town for shops and cultural visits, but quiet location just a short drive from the coast.

Frendly efficient staff and everything is very clean. It's not the least stuffy and you feel at ease there. An encouraging price structure sympathetic to what for many people are hard pressed times. An alternative for me would have been to have made two 200mile car journeys in one day rather than one -
