The staff are excellent, very friendly and very accommodating. Parking facilities are very good and the staff have good local knowledge. The hotel is very close to the city centre and patrolled by the Police on foot. The hotel is within walking distance to all the nightlife. The hotel is very quiet at night and the beds are very comfortable. -

Although I arrived early, I was made welcome immediately. All the staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The facilities were excellent value for money, the breakfast was first class, and I was able to leave my luggage in the hotel and use the lounge if i wished until my taxi arrived (1.30pm). My room had a lovely view of the river, and in general was very spacious and comfortable. When I arrived at the hotel, I had a business arrangement to attend in another part of the city, and the staff at the hotel were more than willing to assist me with directions. Modern clean rooms with excellent shower room, especially liked the shower gel supplied in wall dispenser gorgeous smell, the hand soap dispenser was the same, we stayed in room 9.
The hotel in general had a nice cosy feel to it.
Excellent staff, extremely helpful, cheery friendly and efficient, I travel a fair bit and these were the best I had encountered in quite a while.
The breakfast was lovely, yet again served by friendly cheery efficient staff.

Ross was an exceptional host. His nature/personality is perfect to be the Host of Royston.
His Home/Guest House is warm and inviting as he is what a wonderful time we had plenty of talking, laughter and good times.
Nothing was too much trouble and the cleaniness and décor was just like home.
Would recommend highly.

The room was clean and well appointed with plenty of drawer and wardrobe space. A nice lounge area for guests. Piping hot breakfast served at table and good choice on buffet.Two establishments close by for evening meals. The owner was friendly and offered local advice. I would recommend staying here to friends and family.

The staff were very polite and helpfull. The rooms were lovely and clean and and we weren't put in a cheap room just because it was out of season and low cosr. We had a room with a lovely view of the river! - I though the hotel had excellant cleanliness and was very central to clubs and pubs made for a perfect day

The location, the sense of familiarity. Being a solo traveller you felt secure and that if something went wrong there would be help. At breakfast with the other guests, while at separate tables, the host made it feel like a big friendly group. The owners know the area and were very helpful. The staff were incredible. We left early, before breakfast the breakfast hours had started, and they were kind enough to pack us sandwiches and fruit to take with us on the train.
The rooms were bright and clean, and both the mattresses and the pillows were deliciously comfortable. (This was in contrast to previous hotels on our trip.) I would very happily stay here again.

A reasonably priced hotel for a short stay when visiting Inverness. A short stroll into the centre via the castle meant this hotel was good value for money. Our room was small and had a disappointing view of a wall. But it was clean and equipped with the essentials. -

We were greeted by the owner as soon as we walked in and he promptly
showed us to our room on the first floor. The room was very quiet,
spacious and has an updated bathroom with shower. Tv and free internet
which was great. It was a 10-15 minute walk from the train station but

Perfect location for exploring Inverness and the surrounding area. Naim
was the best host we had out of six B&Bs we stayed at during our
three week Scotland trip. He provided a lot of valuable information
each morning regarding the area based on our plans for the day. The
twin room had a great view of Inverness Castle at night. Ample portions
at breakfast were delicious and provided an ideal start to a day of
touring around.
