The hotel, along with the pub and restaurant downstairs, made for the perfect place to stay for the short time we were in Ilkley. The room was great, good size with a fantastic bed and the shower was great. Breakfast was lovely, and the choice was wide and included in the price. The pub downstairs had the two most important elements - plenty of decent beer on tap, and an open fire. Lovely. The food in the restaurant was great, and good value for money. όλα τα σχόλια »
We loved: The hotel, The location, The super staff, The decor, The
clealiness, The spacious well appointed bedroom, The bar, The
LeBistrotPierre French style dining area, The good breakfast, The
relaxed atmosphere. It is the only hotel that we would want to give a 10
because it suits our needs. Not the poshest, not the cheapest but
exactly what we like. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
We have stayed before at this bed and breakfast but it has been re-furbished to a good standard since our last visit . Staff were friendly and helpful upon our arrival , check in was fast and the bedrooms are lovely . We had a few drinks in the bar during the evening which was nice and slept well at night . Breakfast was lovely and again the staff very polite .
I was extremly impressed with the Crescent. The staff were friendly and welcoming, my room was very comfortable and clean, the bar served a great range of beers and the breakfast was cooked to order and delicious. This is more a boutique hotel than just another B&B style place and not only would I heartily recommend it, I will be staying again soon!.
Lovely hotel, sweeping staircase and room - unusual shape with high ceilings and smart furnishings. Brilliant bathroom and fittings. Good view of the church and crossroads, but amazingly quiet because of secondary glazing. Great breakfast (and an evening meal separately booked) in restaurant with good service. We loved this hotel and will return...!.
Almost everything about it from the moment of arrival to the exquisite French Bistro and the inclusive patio breakfast.
Staff excellent with smart, uniformed presentation . Rooms were excellently furnished and without the dreadful plastic glasses for water. Linen fresh and bright.
The hotel was in a central possition. The staff were friendly, the rooms
were clean and comfortable. The breakfast was excellent.During the
evening we ate at the crescent Inn,the food was good easy pub grub. The
pub was olde world.
We really enjoyed our stay. Lovely, character building and tasteful rooms. Bed and bedding were really comfy. Check in was very informal. Nice breakfastcooked to order. Ideal location close to start of dales way.
This hotel exceeded all my expectations. Looks up to date and stylish with comfortable room and bed. Great food and service. Excellent feel to everything in the hotel. Near the station and the moor and shops.
Hotel ambience, pub bar with good selection of real ales, first class restaurant and all at reasonable prices. Centrally located in an attractive old town set in delightful countryside within walking distance.
The food in the French style bistro is exceptional, a real surprise and excellent value for money. Take advantage of the special deals available on the prix fixe with wine. Breakfast is also outstanding.
the friendliness of all the staff, the excellence of the food in the bistro and the 7.00 to 10.30 breakfast times allowed us a lie in and no rush down to eat. A lovely leisurely break.
Very quiet room at rear overlooking the Moor, much to be recommended.
Super comfortable bed. Breakfast exceeded expectations.
We'll come to the Crescent again and look forward to it.
Amazing breakfast, best yet.
Staff very helpful.
Good nights sleep although near traffic, no noise.
Very convenient to walk the shops and the lovely town.
The location was spot on. The interior of the hotel & the hotel room was very elegant & stylish. Great bar & breakfast was excellent.
Staff were superb and could not help enough. The bistro was excellent quality and reasonably priced. Great food and lots of choice.
The location is excellent and love the fact you can just go down to the bar or the restaurant without the need to venture out.
The very friendly staff. Extremely comfy bed. Lovely building bought up to date. Fantastic food in pub and Pierre's.
Friendly staff, stylish room and restaurant, great food, felt very comfortable as a single female travelling alone.
Friendly staff. Good restaurant and bar on site. Central location in Ilkley, good breakfast, good value for money.

The room, the food and the general ambience of the public areas, also the young and very friendly staff.
The location, the hotel, the bar. and the room although small, was very good. I would stay there again.

Location.
Nice surrounding area.
Pleaseant shopping experience.
We had dinner in the restaurant one evening, and whilst the food was fantastic, the service was a little slow during what seemed to be a relatively quiet evening. It was the only downside, as we had family waiting in the pub next door, but overall it was a small inconvenience that was quickly forgotten about.
No hotel parking but available very close by. I don't like the fact
that as it's reputation rises, I may not be able to get a room.
No parking for cars .
Poor reception facilities - having to walk through to the bar/ restaurant and distracted staff doing two jobs at once - not a very welcoming or professional start, but very good after that.
No teapot for early morning tea. Mercy me....
And having to leave.
We had no complaints whatsoever.
Absence of private car parking.
No parking on site but plenty of on free parking in adjacent streets.
Intermittent whiff of drains from bathroom washbasin.
Nothing!.
As it was in the centre of town we could hear street noise until quite late. There was no parking. But all in all great place and great value for money.
Room could have done with a lick if paint and the handle off the toilet fell off and the bathroom blinds kept getting stuck. The ceiling light looked cheap snd there was only a small mirror on the dressing table. Just little things but let the room down slightly.
Nothing.
No problems with anything.
No on site parking.
Overall - everything was good, but the only odd thing was the breakfast, but if its included we did order the large traditional breakfast (very good), but no juice or cerial. Was this included??.
Nothing to dislike.
nothing.
not a proper greeting for a b and b. noisy,we had a room in the back above restaurant and we awakened at 700am by loud noises, lots of banging heard from surrounding business, breakfast a full English disappointing, rooms were tiny.
Lack of parking.
Liked everything.
The noise from the bar downstairs! Our room was at the back directly over the beer garden! Noise went on until 1am!.
there was nothing to dislike.
Nothing.
Not having it's own car park.
Room a little small
Pricey.
Smelly room!!.
