  I had a very enjoyable stay at the Barcelo Basingstoke Country Hotel. I found all of the staff very friendly and happy to help. The food was excellent and there was a varied choice on the menu. Leisure facilities great - nice to have the opportunity to relax and unwind in the evening.   After a 2 night stay at The Wellington Arms I found the staff VERY friendly and nothing was too much bother. The hotel has a bar with a lovely relaxed atmosphere.
