House and grounds are delightful. The bedroom looked over to the Downs and we enjoyed an early morning view of both deer and rabbits grazing. The breakfast table looked out on to a formal garden with the hills beyond. Mrs Alderman was most welcoming and solicitous and went out of her way to accommodate our needs. We were only sorry that our schedule did not allow of more time to enjoy what was on offer at Holmbush House. όλα τα σχόλια »
Lovely house, beautifully appointed, and garden with views to the South Downs. Comfortable, peaceful and relaxing. Best full English breakfast my husband has had for a long time!.
The staff at Holmbush House are exceptionally friendly and helpful. Also the setting is magnificent and every area of the house and grounds are maintained to a high standard.

The mattress and pillows were extremely comfortable but as my husband is 6ft 2in tall and I'm 5ft 7, we found the beautiful Louis XV bed too small to accommodate us both at the same time!.
