Came to spend anniversary with husband. Staff we're very friendly and even ordered us halal chicken for our lunch!
Had an amazing treatment at the spa and everyone was just so friendly and approachable!
We even forgot a personal greeting card in our room when we checked out and the staff ever so nicely posted it out to us the following morning.

Excellent spa. the rooms were spatious and clean, my room had a separate lounge and was very elegant. Comfortable beds too. the staff are very polite, we even got a lift to the restaurant (the clubhouse) 3 minutes away, because they didn't want us to wander around in the dark.

ALL staff very friendly, couldn't do enough. I arived late, about 10.30. p.m., there was a warm greeting, there was the did I need anything extra, and the phone no. for if I did.
The pillow with the firmness corner, that was a great touch.

What more can I say. -
The room was a lovely size for 4 of us.The bathroom was spotlessly clean. Breakfast was set out brilliantly and it catered for all our tastes especially our youngest who asked for a bacon butty with no butter on the bread !
We certainly be using Premier Inns from now on.

everything there were 6 of us average age mid 40s we could not pick any faults apart from having to go home It was excellent value for money and cant wait to go back All the rooms and facilities were spotless staff very friendly location is excellent for us just 15 mins down the road - relaxing

the location for the local town and attractions, the staff were really helpfull and polite the food were good, and the hotel were really friendly - Ideal location for Darlington town centre - would certainly recommend this hotel and to try for a room overlooking the garden away from the road

The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The owner made us feel very welcome and when we left we felt like we'd found a new friend. The hotel itself is under a major refurb as the owner has only had it for 3 months, but I still can't complain about the facilities as they were. It was spacious and clean and the food was exellent. I would definitely stay there again.

Great value for money! Staff worked really hard (they were there before we started our day and still there when we ended our day). The cleanliness could not be faulted - if you want a clean and budget hotel this is the one for you. Food was good (home cooked on the premises - not sure how they find the time) and pretty good value for money; bar

There is nothing bad to be said about this hotel. Staff are very friendly and show you to your room. Rooms are lovely and clean. Very quiet, despite being so close to the airport. The owners dog is beautiful, and friendly. Later check out was arranged for me with no problem at all. This is the second time I have stayed at the hotel and I will most definately stay there again.

helpful, pleasant staff, good, freshly cooked breakfast, killer views over river, open fires in bar, comfortable refurbished rooms, just looking for an excuse to go back. Breakfast in the morning was marvelous and three log burning fires on the go. This was one of the best hotels I have stayed in and can highly recommend it, a great experience all round.
