The owners were very helpful and suggested some interesting things to see nearby. Lots of leaflets and dining ideas provided too. The proprietors were very welcoming and friendly and very helpful when my mother became ill whilst we were staying there.
The room was very clean and furnished with a modern taste.
There was a good amount of tea, coffee, milk etc and a couple of small touches such as a chocolate and some biscuits made it feel special.
The breakfast was well cooked and served promptly.

As soon as we arrived we were greeted by Paul and he helped me and my partner with our bags and offered us drinks. When I went outside to the garden to get my tea there was yummy banana cake and biscuits for us too! Just what you need after a long drive! Fair winds is a fantastic place to stay, Paul and Gill are friendly, easily approachable hosts, on arrival we were greeted with coffee and biscuits and they both had time to spend with us chatting, the guest house is spotlessly clean and has a fantastic breakfast choice and we were very spoilt for choice. Its dealy situated for exploring the towns/ villages around torbay, I would deffinatly recommend fair winds to friends/family.

Great location- a few minute walk to the beach and Town center
Room- very clean, big enough, fresh bottled water replaced daily, nice shower, tea facilities/biscuits/hair dryers etc.
Breakfast- served promptly, as well as the cooked option there is a self serve table option too, fresh fruit, plates of mango/grapefruit etc, selection of cereal, juice. Plenty of variety as well as the cooked menu available.

We stayed in the four poster room with view down the hill into the bay from the window. Hosts were very welcoming and knowledgeable of the area. Breakfast was a good wide choice of traditional British, with a clean and bright dining area. All in, we seriously enjoyed our stay.

A very friendly welcome on our arrival,Everything explained. Owners very attentive but not intrusive. Bedroom and furnishings immaculate and the view from our room (8) across the bay very impressive. Binoculars in the room a nice touch. Breakfast was cooked to perfection and the choice had to be seen to be believed. Given the lack of parking generally in the Torbay area the car park was much appreciated. No noise heard at all at nigt even with windows open.
Will certainly be visiting again 4 st

My daughter and I took my 2 year old grandson to meet my uncle who lives in Brixham. We booked the Anchorage guest house. We had the attic room with a double bed and coffee making facilities also en-suite. The owners Sylvia and Marcus were really friendly and helpfull. Marcus was the chef for breakfast. nothing was too much trouble, the bedroom was comfortable, tastefully decorated with an en-suite shower room,the homecooked breakfasts were excellent, especially the specials which had to be ordered the day before. Marc and Sylwia were very friendly and we will definitely return.
