Less than a 5-minute walk from Chester city centre and a 2-minute walk from Chester Rail Station, The Bunkroom is an independent hostel with free Wi-Fi and free tea/coffee. The bedrooms in this renovated Georgian property are spacious, colourful and fitted with carpet. Each bed has its own reading lamp and comes with quality linen and duvets. Towels can be hired at an extra cost. Guests can relax in the lounge, which features a TV, DVD player and games. There is also a shared kitchen. Guests can find free parking a short walk away. Other facilities include a garden with barbecue facilities, a laundry service and bike rental.

Was clean tidy had a working kitchen you could use and living room, never stayed in a hostel before tbh it wasn't very clear when I booked it that it was but once I got over the shock I was fine met some really nice people and would deffenatally recomend the place, I've stayed in some right dives in my time and I would of thought this place to be the same. But I was proved wrong, so if you want a cheap Comfy place to get your head down this is the place to book once again thanks.

Made to feel very welcome. I would definitely go back!. Melissa was very friendly and welcoming and I found out as we were chatting that she went the extra mile to find out my gender in order to put in a room where I may be more comfortable! :). really good value,great location, friendly staff, near to everything, we loved the communal living room ,met some interesting people. Easy to find.The staff is very nice, the kitchen is very clean and well-facilitied. And they have a small garden in the backyard. VERY helpful staff. Bunk beds were comfortable (and I am a tall guy). Nice breakfast. Outdoor socialising area. Close to town. The staff are so friendly! The location is good, both close to the city centre and the train station. Highly recommend!. Great hospitality..freedom to come & go when wanted.use of kitchen..& all relaxing/chill out areas.. Very friendly atmosphere on arrival, cheerful and very helpful members of staff. Nothing. It was all brilliant. could have done with a toilet in the room but not really a problem. There is only one bathroom, but it's not a big problem since it's a small hostel. Because I didn't want to pay for parking it was a struggle to find a free place (paid parking was just along the road). Not enough w.c.s. None. nothing. Room 4 - noise from above bedroom with creaky floorboards and central heating pipes. few electrical sockets. No towel. Nothing. There is nothing I don't like about the Bunkhouse.
