Just metres from the River Teifi on the Welsh coast, this bed and breakfast is a 2-minute walk from the centre of Cardigan and the town’s castle. The unspoilt beach of Poppit Sands is only 2 miles from the location. Coed y Bryn offers free Wi-Fi and free parking on site. Some rooms boast original 60-year-old pine flooring, and all benefit from a TV and tea and coffee making facilities. The air-conditioned conservatory dining room features a range of tropical plants and mature grape vines. It overlooks the spacious mature garden. Guests can relax in here and enjoy a continental style breakfast in the morning. Full English breakfast is available as an optional extra. Coed y Bryn is the closest B&B to the Teifi Marshes Nature Reserve, only 200 metres away.

Lovely, airy room (one of us needed to study for part of our stay and the pleasant room was ideal for this). Great breakfast! Friendly owner. Handy location for surrounding activities (next to wildlife park, short walking distance from river, shops and pubs/cafes, few minutes bus-ride to beautiful Poppit Sands beach). Godfrey, host of the B&B, was so friendly and easy to talk to. He talked about his old job and present hobbies. We had a wonderful time talking to him. He recommended a great restaurant, where the staff were so kind and welcoming. We 'd love to come back.

The Eagle pub, recommended by Godfrey and just a short walk away, served a lovely meal and was relaxed and friendly. Great host. Fantastic full breakfast served in conservatory overlooking an interesting garden. Well appointed room and bathroom. Good location for the town, nature reserve, castle and close to main route for further exploring. Would stay again. Godfrey was a wonderful host who gave us a fabulous breakfast. The location was good, only a short distance into town. We were given a good recommendation for a great place for dinner which was very friendly and hospitable. Large and very spacious room. Easy parking right in front of the house. Great dining room. Right off the main road to Cardigan, good jumping off point for exploring the National Park if you have a car. Friendly owner. The host Godfrey is a gem very helpful and knowledgeable of the town of Cardigan you are made to feel very welcome. TV screen not very large, but not too bothered. Nothing. A little old in the decor, room could be brighter at night. No hot water kettle in the room. Nothing. There was nothing that I didn't like. Nothing to say. the heater in the room was a bit too high (our fault for not turning it down during the night). The tv screen in the bedroom was so small and difficult to see!. The double bed in the front room could be improved on. Nothing to dislike. Light out the front of the building was a problem when sleeping. Croissants from a plastic packet. Fresh bread from the bakers in Cardigan would be preferable! (A small quibble only). No toiletries in room and as we were backpacking along coastal path, these would be useful. Fortunately we had some but one has to consider weight when walking. Also, for vegetarian breakfast, just omitted sausage, bacon and no other option offered. it did smell of dogs i will look for somewhere that doesn't take pets next time. Nothing. In no doubt wanting to feel inclusive smoking is allowed in the accommodation and as such the whole building smells of cigarette smoke. The accommodation is close to the main "A" road and as such there is a constant background of traffic noise that only goes away late into the evening.
