Situated in the in the village of Buxted in the heart of scenic East Sussex, The Buxted Inn offers contemporary accommodation and locally sourced food. Guests can also enjoy free Wi-Fi and free parking. Buxted Rail Station is conveniently located within a minute's walk of the hotel and can be reached in just over an hour from London. The towns of Eastbourne, Brighton and Tunbridge Wells can be reached within 40 minutes, whilst Gatwick Airport is just 45 minutes away. Rooms at the Inn use contemporary styling and are decorated in natural colours. They all come equipped with a work desk and flat-screen TV, as well as a laptop safe and an en suite bathroom. A 28-day aged Sussex sirloin steak is part of the restaurants large, varied menu. Breakfast, lunch and dinner can be catered for and the food on offer is locally sourced. Guests may also enjoy a good selection of beers, real ales and fine wines from the bar.

Excellent welcome, friendliness and respectfulness of staff. All very helpful and polite, nothing too much trouble. My partner was not feeling well, so I asked if it would be possible to have our meal in the room, and this was speedily delivered, with a friendly and helpful smile. The waitress even asked after my partner's health the next morning! Room and bathroom both well equipped and spotlessly clean, plus an excellent keyless security system for doors from bar, restaurant and car park .
όλα τα σχόλια » What a rare gem! I received a very warm and genuine welcome, the food is excellent, the rooms are impeccable and spotlessly clean. Lovely modern design with lots of features including dimmer lights and electronic settings for the shower and door signs. The walk in power shower is big enough for 4 and there's a large, comfortable double bed. The Buxted Inn boasts a cosy dining area with an amazing menu (The hand cut chips and scallops are excellent, as are the pudding options and extensive wi. Although small, this is one of the most professional and best run hotels I have ever stayed in. The staff and in particular the owner were wonderful, the room comfortable, (if small) and well equipped with excellent cleanliness and the food available was of beautiful gourmet standard with a fantasticly varied menu and for the quality was ridiculously good value for money. I really cannot rate this place highly enough and wouldn't hesitate to stay there again. Very friendly staff who kept us informed about their refurb well in advance of our stay. Extremely comfortable rooms with everything you need in them, including an iPod docking station. The shower was amazing and the bathroom, although small, was well equipped and clean. Very apologetic to us for the nocturnal disturbances caused by local power cuts, nothing that was in their control but they still came acrtoss as feeling responsible for it!. After travelling from Wales for a wedding, the Buxted Inn offered good size rooms, and a lovely side terrace to relax with a drink. The car park at the rear was a bonus. The rooms are clean & tidy with modern en suites. The shower is very easy to use, just push the button. The breakfast was excellent & prepare to a high standard, just what you need to start your day. I would definitely recommend the Buxted Inn. The rooms were excellent in every aspect, clean, comfortable, contemporary, stylish and the bathroom was a good size with an amazing shower - what a good idea to be able to turn it on from outside the cubicle! The food was amazing and I knew this the moment I walked into the restaurant before ordering as I could smell the wonderful aroma's that only good food smells like. Staff are friendly, attentive, and courteous. The hotel is very comfortable, the rooms especially decorated to high spec. The food is absolutely incredible and well priced. Atmosphere is relaxed and cheerful. We would certainly stay there again. It is well placed for visiting NT properties, Tunbridge Wells, Brighton and the South Coast. The staff were fantastic. Very welcoming, friendly and obliging. The accomodation was very nice. The hotel has recently been renovated and is very stylist and neat. The food was top class. The chef's could work in the top restaurants in the city. The staff also helped me out with my washing needs and some great tourist tips. Contemporary and very modern feel to the extremely functional room - fantastic shower! Every need was met from tea/coffee to ironing facilities. Breakfast was lovely and menu so inviting that we will return to sample further dishes! Staff were great, couldn't do enough for us without being overbearing. Last night we stayed at the Spread Eagle, Midhurst, a Heritage Hotel. The facilities at your Inn were superlative by comparison. The Chef was listed as Michelin starred but presentation, ingredients and care at your Inn was far superior. We would certainly stay with you again. The hotel lived up to the pictures on its website. It was modern, comfortable and welcoming. The staff were friendly, helpful. The breakfast was gorgeous-next time we'll definitely do dinner(arrived too late as finish serving at 5pm on Sunday). Thoroughly recommend. We arrived there, the staff could not have been more friendly. The room was spotlessly clean very modern with all the facilities you could want for. We immediately had lunch their, the food was fantastic. We are booking to stay again thats for sure. The staff and service was superb the rooms were modern and well done, clean food was excellent well presented and good quality, well cooked pricing on everything very reasonable extremely comfortable pleasant short stay,would recommend to anyone. The rooms were first class, modern with good facilities. Great that you can turn on the shower before you enter it enabling you to get the temperature right before stepping into the shower. The car park appeared to be very full each evening, considering the number of hotel guests and customers. I suspect that it may be being used by users of the adjacent railway station, thus limiting the space available to hotel residents and users. Nothing to dislike. Nothing. Nothing at all! It was all first rate. Nothing. I could only find 2 things I would have liked - a stand for my suitcase as I had to have this open on the floor as I do not unpack all contents for one night and I would have liked to have had the window open more. The hotel is on a fairly busy road and there is some traffic noise affecting the front of the building but this is NOT a problem through the night and certainly didn't affect our sleep and we did have our windows open throughout our stay. It would have been nice to have a small refrigerator in my room to store some local fruit and some dairy foods. This was only an issue because I stayed at the hotel for two weeks. I am sure if I had asked, Gary and Jason would have found a solution to my problem. A small point but valid in that the room was rather warm. Not sure I could stay there in the height of summer!. Friendly Staff, Very clean, had every facility in the room you could possible want. There was a fan that ran when next door used the bathroom, but if you closed the door you could hardly hear it. Proximity to a very busy A road and junction and the associated traffic noise which intensified as the night wore on. The hotel looks old and run down from the outside and is next to some scruffy shopping units. But inside is fine. N/A. Nothing at all. Nothing. There was a dull thudding of music below room 3, which may have come from the bar below, whilst not intrusive did detract from the peace we wanted. The music started again around 7.30 next morning. The surroundings are not too attractive, being right by a main road, a builders yard, and a new housing estate. Nothing. Nothing of note. Excellent. Unfortunately we happened to stay on one of the most warm and humid nights of the year and would have welcomed windows which would open more than just a crack. Otherwise, very satisfied. Very little. Hotel is on a busy road but the double glazing works well. Outside, the hotel looks ordinary, but don't be deceived. It's lovely when you walk inside. The only downsides were the nearness to the road, a bit noisy and there were no drawers or cupboards to put clothes in. No lift, needed to climb stairs. There was nothing we disliked about it!. My stay was necessarily too short. Access to the rooms was a bit tricky with suitcases. Extractor fan in the bathroom was noisy and took an age to switch off. Leaving :-). Light over mirror in the shower room could have been better and only a door out onto a very low walled balcony seemed a shame, leaving the door ajar worked though. I'm not sure the HSE would have like the lack of a correct height balcony rail. We missed a wardrobe for our clothes. The hotel is situated at a busy road in the early morning. With the window closed was it better, but when the weather is hot, you have to open it.. There was nothing to not like. Some traffic noise but the bed was comfy so it did does not keep us awake. Unfortunately there is a tool hire company next door which at times was noisy, but the hotel can't do anything about that. n/a. my room was directly above the bar, so it took a little time to get used to the hum of noise. It wasnt really loud, I'm just too used to quiet.
