  Very warm welcome, with nice cream tea and biscuits, not to mention our sweet Anabel. Also Janet, friend of Romney, who was there at the time. Feel like staying at home with friends. They were very accomodating and couldn't do enough to make our stay exactly as we wanted it. Anything you want Romney to do just ask and she will try her very best! The room was beautiful and the bathroom was large and inviting!!! You also have a guest dining room and lounge which was a lovely touch and we made use of all the rooms.   It was all so homely and another worldy. Loved our bedroom number 8 overlooking the square. Yes, there was a little bit of traffic noise and mild rowdy youths reclaiming their car at night BUT it was atmospheric to feel part of a community. I loved it and I am usually adverse to noise.   Staff, very friendly and welcoming. Lounge area had large open fire, nicely decorated. The breakfast was excellent, cooked to order, high quality produce used, I particularly liked the field mushrooms. - Staff were very committed to making our stay a very welcoming one, would stay there again.
