We often come to Blackpool for a long weekend during the illuminations but hadn't stayed in the Henson before. There were 5 of us, all family, in 3 separate rooms and we were well taken care of from day one. Thank you so much for such a wonderful stay. Hosts couldn't do enough to make our short stay as good as it could be. They gave us a few ideas as to what we could do whilst we were there and gave us a couple of tips such as buying tickets from the tourist info kiosk which saved us a lot of money. Hotel Valentine is such a nice & great place to stay in Black pool. Situated in prime location. Only 5 minutes walk from Black pool north Rail station. And all the key attractions of Black pool like Black pool Tower, Sea world, Winter Garden, Madame Tussads and the beach front are on walking distance.

I have been visiting Blackpool for about 10 years and this is the first hotel where I would say I would return. - The friendliness of alan (owner). The quality of the food was excellentnot the usual hotel fare.

The owners of the hotel were both really friendly and they would do anything that they could to help you. They gave us information on nightlife and restaurants. - How friendly the owners were. they could not do enough for you. The room, food, and service excellent. Would defiantly recommend it to friends.

After reading the reviews I was slightly worried about the hotel but on arrival the staff were brilliant, check in was quick and smooth, they'd gone the extra length to make sure they have parking for all guests. Breakfast was lovely and served quickly. The rooms are small but clean and comfortable. We had an amazing weekend and the service was second to none! I'd highly recommend the hotel!! Amazing value for money!

From when i entered the hotel i was greeted by the owner,he was very polite and paid attention to me,he checked me in then offered to carry my bag to the room,he also showed me to the room.

we stayed for one night only to attend a concert at winter gardens the location was fab really close the hotel was really clean and presentable the staff were lovely and offered to do our breakfast one hour early as we all had to get to work the manager said we are very flexible they certainly were ten out of ten and a truly delicous quality english breakfast was served would not hesitate to stay again thank u all at the carlton the lumbs

Elaine and Steve were very nice and welcoming, helpd out with directions and facilities in town too. I normally stay in hotels when working away but thought it'd be nice to have a 'home' feel for once. The room was very pretty, clean and tidy. modern but not agressively modern. good size too. Everything fantastic this hotel is such a credit to Elaine & myself & hubby & my 2 child 10-9 was made very welcome from the moment I rang the bell :) the breakfast is fantastic so much to pick and all fresh the room were spotless as was the hotel couldn't of asked for more they even went out there way to help my older daughter & boyfriend who was stoping in another hotel they r such a lovely couple and will be sure going back again next yr

We liked the location of the hotel. It was easily accessible from the tram and close to shops and other amenities. Even though they were in the middle of renovation, we were given a ground floor room, and not inconvenienced. -

Rooms clean and well looked after. Nice staff. Beds comfy. Bar always open during normal hours. Location; quiet, 50m from beach and opposite tram station. Tea//coffee facilities in bedroom. Lift. Our lads loved their room. Free wifi. Games room (but pool £1 & take your own darts) Allowed take away food back in hotel room. (except fish & chips as leaves strong odour) Value for money.

Myself and my partnrreally enjoyd our stay. We cae out of season and most places where closed but we werent too bothered because we only came for a night away. The hotel was very clean and the staff where very friendly and helpfull. Highly recomend
