The hotel was lovely. The setting was beautiful, the rooms were spacious, attractive and very clean. The whole setting had a wonderful atmosphere. The food and drinks were excellent, and the staff could not have done more to make us comfortable. The Griffin Inn is located in heart of Bath, near the theatre and Thermae Spa Complex. It has modern rooms, a wide selection of real ales and craft beer, fine wines, and features fresh local cuisine.

This was our third stay at The Griffin - and I am sure we will stay there again:
staff are always very cheerful, helpful and welcoming;
location is great for exploring Bath - near station as we travel by train and central for shops, theatre, etc.
Breakfast is fine, as are the bar snacks and range of beers and wines. -

Friendly welcome. welcoming entrance. Clean comfortable rooms nicely decorated. Thoughtfulness for guests little touches such as fresh milk available to go with tea trays. crisps / chocolate available to purchase. Fans in rooms (we visited in a heatwave) and every effort was made to cool rooms down. Very friendly and helpful owners/staff. -

Free Wifi.
A short walk to town, although walking up the hill (back from Bath) can be challenging if you have poor fitness. A cab from town only cost £6, which is a cheap alternative to walking up the hill.
Overall a wonderful stay and I would definitely stay at the Devonshire House again.

We cannot recommend the Tasburgh highly enough! Sue, the proprieter, is the most genuinely caring person and was so helpful to us throughout our stay. We stayed there over our wedding weekend and Sue and Toni were both generous with their time and support for us. The hotel itself is clean and good looking, the grounds very lovely indeed. Breakfast

Myself and my other half spent a beautiful, romantic weekend in Bath staying at The Prince of Wales. Really nice greeting, very friendly and flexible to our needs, we
were in room 1 which was lovely and light. It is a pub so isn't
the kind of thing you'd expect at a hotel, but the friendliness
and general atmosphere was much better than cold hotel. Our friends
stayed at travelodge and paid more and were very disappointed.
Breakfast was great, and I'd definitely stay again if back in
that part of the world.5
