I arrived at 1.30 in the morning and was a little anxious trying to find the entrance but when I entered the hotel my anxiety diminished and I fell into the lovely bed encased in soft linens; such a restful atmosphere. We had a problem with the television in the room and even though we had
to relocate to another room, I should like to express our sincere
gratitude to katie who was exceptional pleasant & consumately
professional, also being attentive throughout. We shall undoubtedly be
making a return visit. The location and parking facility being perfect
for our requirements.

Everything. However, letsbookhotel.com made a mistake! You did not have my surname correct, i.e. van Breemen, therefore at first the receptionist said I was not booked in which caused me some stress momentarily. I was travelling with my two grandchildren and you had told premier inn that it was a couple, so they had to get another suitable room

Nice staff.
The room and WC was spotless clean.
Despite being very close to the airport the rooms are properly insulated against noise which added to a very comfortable bed gave us what they promise: a great night's sleep!
The hotel is ideally located and very close to the airport, however bear in mind you should leave the airport complex and most important, if you are using your sat nav, the post code is wrong and it will take you to a parking inside the airport complex.

The room was spacious comfortable, homely warm and spotless. The bathroom was more than adequate and sparkling clean.
The staff especially June were friendly and professional, we were met with a hot drink and given full instructions about the Hotel and information where to eat locally. June ordered a taxi for us which arrived on the dot early next

When we arrived we were offered hot drinks while the receptionist

I was pleasantly surprised that they had a 24-hour bar, which was a bonus for a late-night drink when we came back. This Express by Holiday Inn had improved the breakfast offering compared with other hotels in the chain. It was very pleasant. We were pleased that they had a direct link to taxis. This is so good a B&B that you'll find yourself thinking of any excuse to return! We booked because we couldn't find any vacancies closer to City centre-well thank goodness!!
Ian & Karen have really thought this one out-in all respects. Their friendly(but not patronising or fussing) attitude helped us relax & feel at ease as soon as we arrived.

Beautiful Art Deco refurbishment, attention to detail was outstanding.Excellent breakfast and all staff were very friendly, polite andhelpful. Due to a change in circumstances regarding attending an event in Widnes, we decided to make a return visit to the Cottage (previous stay in July 2013). Only booked mid afternoon for staying that evening. Phoned and enquired if we could arrive slightly later than the published time as we were travelling from Scotland.

What a lovely find in the nice village of Hale it was superb in every respect made very welcome .A lovely cosy and comfortable room with a very nice breckfast,exellent value for money.hope to return as our son is at liverpool University for the next two years .

Billy is a kind and friendly host. It only takes 10 minutes and 2 pounds on the 82A bus (direction Runcorn) to get to the Hale Village Post Office and then it is a 2 minute walk to the guesthouse. Best food close by is the Wellington pub - they have free WI-FI as does the guesthouse. Billy gave me a lift to the airport in the morning.

Quick check in with friendly & helpful staff. Large room, clean & comfortable. Very affordable accommodation, Good location if you dont mind a 10 minute walk to Cressington station & then a 10 min train journey into the centre of Liverpool. Asda & petrol station straight opposite. -

Stayed for 8 nights, room lovely and clean, staff very friendly and a brilliant pint of Guinness.

Everything!! Lovely, helpful owner, Sue, couldn't have done more to make us and the other guests feel 'at home'. So much better staying in the quiet suburbs than in the city centre with buses running every eight minutes or so from right outside the house into the city centre for shopping and sightseeing. A beautiful house in a lovely location, very clean and a great breakfast!
