there is so much to say about this place. It is an experience of the finest country house you could hope to be a guest of. First impression was excellent. When we arrived the room was not yet ready (I’m pretty sure we were early) but the staff immediately got on the phone to get the room ready and directed us to a guest lounge and brought a tray of coffee. One of the most picturesque locations off a Premier Inn I have ever stayed at. Nicely situated with the harbour close by and Caernarfon Castle.

Parking is just across the road with a small charge or free parking further up the road. -
The reception staff were always friendly and willing to help in any way. The room was spacious, well-appointed, clean and warm. The recommended free car-park is close. The town is only five minutes walk down the quay, and the Record Office for genealogists is about three minutes walk. The attached restaurant serves excellent meals from breakfast to dinner, and the staff there are also excellent, giving great service.

Had good reports from friends about The Outbuildings and were not
disappointed. Good contact prior to arrival so we were able to book in
early to change for a business meeting. Made very welcome and offered
coffee & cake after our journey. The room was spotless, warm

Staff and owner were very welcoming and helpful, the owner knows
Anglesey (and maybe all Wales ?) very well and gave us very good

by our gps and longer by only 2 minutes)

The hotel was eceptional in every way, the location was perfect overlooking the sea and locks, the rooms were outstanding and one of the best we have stayed in. Friendly staff, good sized room for a family of 5. Clean and good sized bathroom with plenty of towels provided at no extra cost. Tea and coffee making facilities was great as was more than plenty and even biscuits. Also great views from large window. This is our second visit to Tafarn y Rhos. Everyone was welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. As before, the food was excellent and now the wholesome cooked breakfast is included in the price. The mattress was very comfortable and we will be returning. The hotel is fairly close to Trac Mon, Anglesey's racing circuit, which suits us well.
