The rooms at Tophane Aparts, are excellent and definitely above other hotels in the same price range. The staff were very accomodating, allowing us to check in early after a long flight from SA. Don't be put off by the buildings in the area, the hotel was the best we stayed in, throughout our trip to Turkey. -

The staff were very pleasant and welcoming. It was good to be able to talk to fluent English speakers. The room was quiet and very clean. Being able to use the terrace and internet any time was much appreciated.

Very good apartments. Clean rooms with new furniture: beds for adults and a child, wardrobe, table, chairs, etc. Kitchen corner, frige, gas cooker, cups, plates, and utensils.The apartmants are in the old part of Istanbul, 20-25 min walk to Hagia Sophia. 5 min to the sea embankment, a fish market and fish restaurants. Frendly personnel fluent in English and Russian (special thanks to Yildiz!).
Very well for family tourism.

The location is great. The hotel owners are very friendly. They give you a briefing on the main sights. The hotel is new and tastefully decorated. I especially appreciate the private airport transfer service at 35 lira, which is about 5 more than a taxi. But many taxi drivers may not find this place. Taxi drivers in Istanbul are also not very

So I highly recommend using the service (a big van!) when arriving in Istanbul. - The owners were amazing, taking the time to explain the history of Istanbul and lay out an itinerary for us on our tight schedule! The hotel is a 5-10 minute walk from the Sultanahmet tram stop and it takes roughly an hour to get to from the Ataturk Airport. My fiance and I would highly recommend this hotel as it is an amazing value and right near the Blue Mosque, Aya Sofia and Topkapi Palace.

We have stayed at Faik Pasha for two nights. This hotel is an excellent option in İstanbul. We chose this hotel due to the Taksim square protests. It is very close to İstiklal Street but it is located in very secure region of Taksim. The room was very well appointed, real boutique hotel style. Great location. Easy to move from there to visit the city and rich of bar pub cafe and nightlife. Nearby Karakoy a dinamic district with many lovely restaurant and the great istanbul modern, a museum you might see.
The hotel is in an historic building but it is fully renovated and the result is a mix of historic perspective and contemporary taste. Everyone is very nice and gentle . Perfect for couple

Location - The hotel was very close to the Sultanahmet tourist area, with some gift shops, coffee shops and restaurants right next door.
The night manager (I think his name was Usman) was a good guide point to various areas and activities.
The hotel itself is rather small, just enough room to put your bags and walk to you bed, but it is what you pay for.

Absolutely everything. Fantastic, large, modern spotless room which was a haven while travelling around Turkey. Great breakfast with loads of variety and more than we could eat. Staff helpful and organised tour for us. The location is superb, right in the middle of Canakale. Would definitely stay here again in a heartbeat. The best we have stayed

It is by far the best place I've stayed in Istanbul. It is
ridiculously close to some of the main tourist attractions such as the
Blue Mosque and Hagia Sofia. Although it is so close to the centre, the
street is quiet and peaceful -and believe me, you will want some peace
and quiet in Istanbul! The apartments are simple but clean and very

The most important in this hotel is atmosphere!!! And it is all up to the Hekmet. Hekmet is the owner of the hotel and the very good and friendly person. The satisfaction of his guests is on the first place in his life and he is doing that with all his heart. Thank you and your housekeeper for everything, you made our stay unforgettable. The hotel is clean with good hot water. There is one welcome breakfast, but tea and coffee is available all the time on an open terrace. You can cook your own

Great location. Apartments are a few steps away from Galata tower and 5

Almost all amenities included which made things easy especially with
young kids. A small grocery store and money exchange in the back street. -
The size of the apartment was of a good size of about 36 sq.m with the sofa bed being able to be folded into bed making our stay with the Kids much conveninent. The location of the apartment is excellent within close proximity to the shopping area of Estiqlal in Taksim and also metro/trump stations. The hospitality of the management was handled with excellent care by Mr. Takin and his team.
