We came for hanging around in Istanbul. I chose this hotel because I wanted to go to Taksim and other historical places so the hotel met my expectations with its location and its helpful and proffessional staff. The staff at Bulvar Palas are not just good -- they are exceptional. Everyone spoke fluent English, were accommodating beyond belief (we arrived at 6 a.m. hoping just to check our bags while we went sightseeing and they offered to rush making up a room for us so we could get in there at 10 a.m. without being asked). Everything! The hotel is great! Due to my business life I am staying in
hotels more than a week per month but never saw soo much friendly staff
and ckean hotel! It is 4 stars only in the papers, because in reality it
is a 5 star hotel!!! Even when we had a problem with a taxi,
resemptionist came and fight with him with a sucessful end! Location is
also great, 10 min by taxi from taksim and 4 tram station from hagia
sofia and blue tzami.

The Grand Washington hotel was located in an ideal location for exploring the city - walkable to the Blue Mosque, Grand Bazaar, and other cultural sites. A brand new property with very helpful and genuinely earnest staff. The rate is excellent at the moment too for a hotel of this high quality. Everything! The facilities are simply superb, the staff extremely
friendly, courteous and very helpful. A very relaxed atmosphere. All the
modern conveniences and only a hop, skip and jump to shops, bars,
restaurants and interesting sights by foot or short taxi ride - I would
stay there again and highly recommend the Radisson Blu to anyone seeking
excellent accommodation in Istanbul.
