  Was a Decent place to stay with large bedroom . Location is excellent and 10 min walking distance from blue mosque grand bazaar Hague Sophia . Breakfast was same all 5 days but then basics were provided . Don't expect much . . However the owner have us a warm welcome . And the reception staff was courteous.   This is a large appartment on the 3rd floor split into various rooms. Larger rooms are mainly equipped with domitory beds while the smaller ones have double beds. The location is excellent, very close to all main sites and the t1 tram line. The rooms are clean. The brekfast is very good. Castle Hostel is very near to the Blue Mosque so you can just pop there after dinner to enjoy some salep and the buzz. We felt home and definitely stay there next time we go to Istanbul.

  It was our second stay in Istanbul, and since we were not very happy with the first one, I was very careful choosing our accommodation. So for almost the same price we got MUCH, much better place which I can call even perfect comparing to the first one. Location was just excellent. I also enjoyed food and service at their( optimist) cafe .the appartment is clean and tidy. But the most important thing was the owners bahadir and mohamet and their staff especially ikut who were available at any time for any inqiuries or help.   The building has 3 stories and houses 2 studios per floor. The studios are well equipped for groups, families and couples who don't mind a home away from home on vacation and do not demand a traditional hotel with all its services attached. It was quiet for normal sleepers, fussy sleepers who like open windows at night should take earplugs, since ... τι λέει ο κόσμος » the 5 o'clock prayer could be heard (a fussy sleeper mentioned this to me) The staff was the most helpful I have ever seen - we parted as friends. The - Loved the Location as it is fairly close to all the major tourist spots like Aya Sophia, Blue Mosque, Topkapi and Bascilica Cistern. There is a very nice cafe just across the road where you can have breakfast, lunch dinner etc. Free Wifi available in the room and the speed was great. Kahar, the guy managing the place was extremely friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Would definitely recommend the place for anyone to stay.
