It was our second hotel, where we were spending our honeymoon. Amazing!!! It has an amazing view and best pool we've ever had!
Excellent food and rich breakfast.
The hotel is very quiet so you can relax and enjoy every second of your stay.
Another great thing that the hotel offers is free transportation to lamai and chaweng! (Few times a day)

The location is right on a beautiful beach, ideal for lounging on or strolling along to the various restaurants along the sands. The staff are extremely helpful, and very friendly. Briliiant accommodation, especially Hydro pool rooms, relaxing place to stay. Loved every minute of the stay, for the third year in a row, hoping to make it a fourth.

We stayed in a beautiful room with a small private pool. It was clean, the service is good. Breakfast is OK only.
Beach is good, although the area has better ones in terms of sand softness and water depth.

The whole atmosphere @ Buddy!! I'm planning to return to Koh Samui
as I fell in love with the place & Buddy Oriental. The food was of
supurb quality and quantity; I take my hat off to the head chef Gina who
works tirelessly to ensure all runs smoothly & is an excellent cook.
All the staff were so friendly, couldn't do enough for us all.

I liked the ambience and the architecture of Buddy. The staff were always helpful and friendly.
the complex has a good variety of shops and restaurants although I mostly chose to eat at the nearby New Hut for budget reasons and preferred to try "authentic Thai" food with fellow travelers.
The pools were beautiful although on my second last day whilst lounging at the big pool a snake fell out of a over hanging palm and landed on my chest, however I don't blame the resort for that.

The location ( we stayed at the mountain villa ). The view was breathtaking from our villa called the ''topmost''. Lots of stairs to climb in order to reach it but the view makes it all worth while. Plus the staff helps you with the luggage.
Very nice staff. Very easy to interract the owner by email ( in order to clarify any questions). Clean rooms, quiet surroundings. Very nice infinity pool with an amazing view. ( just like in the pics on letsbookhotel.com)

Staff are very friendly and helpful. Rooms a good size and clean. Back
to nature - saw a snake and scorpion from our terrace! Had a pool towel
which they allowed you to bring to the beach (would be changed once).
Motorbike for a small engine only 200 baht a day which is a very good
price renting it on hotel-site. Walk opposite and you are on Lamai

Staff were amazing the two girls at reception extremely friendly and helpful. 2 cleaners were lovely and smiley. Owner was also very friendly and welcoming. Lovely rooms very clean and perfect location. 1 mins walk from beach. Swimming pool was great and breakfast was delicious. Highly recommend this place

The resort is about 2 mins drive from the centre of lamai and the owners
Dave and Paul happily drive all the guests to and from town. Nou and El
are both superb and extremely helpful. The rooms are well furnished and
very clean. -

Wonderful location, ultimate luxury and comfort provided by a very
efficient and polite team of hotel staff. The pool villa was fabulous
and well maintained with all the kitchen facilities provided which

What a lovely boutique hotel. Over and above that the rates are really affordable, the hotel itself, breakfasts given, size of room and location to beach were all wonderfull. We really enjoyed our stay and would recommend this small hotel to any traveller who needs to relax and not worried about a "resort" atmosphere. Most of the resort type hotel

This place is perfect if you don't like these 5 stars crowded resorts.
High standard of accomodation (we even had our own jacuzzi at the terrace), super clean, good breakfasts, free wifi, walking distance to the beach/shop/restaurants and last but not least, the best host - very nice and helpful!
