We stayed 2 night in Pimalai at the end of 4 weeks honeymoon trip. the hotel is located right on the beach spreading further towards the hill. the beach is quite nice but depend on the tide state. we really liked the room which was really comfortable, the breakfast (they have macaroons.. :), the shed in front of the beach. The service is nice, both pools are incredible. They have nice facilities for free at the beach. "why not" bar is great.

Staff were great, Poppy made the time to talk to us. Loved the quiet bungalows with loads of room. Breakfast was fine. Didn't see the pool but assume that was in nearby hotel. Was steps away from beach. We booked 1 day and stayed for 5 I think in the end. -
Location is good, close to Saladan to be convenient but fat enough away
to avoid the noise

Lanta Mermaid is a first-class boutique hotel. Small and personal with a great breakfast and very clean accommodations. The walk to the beach is just 2 minutes across the (busy) road. This resort lived up to all the reviews I read before booking. I can't thank the staff and managers, Dave and Glen enough for their friendly, caring attitude. They made us feel special and couldn't possibly do any more to make us feel more welcome.

very quiet, only 20 guest (high season 300). Location was nice, but you have to rent a motorbike (4 euro/day) to explore the island more. Beautiful garden and ponds (with some Iguanas in it) in the center of the hotel, so nice view from breakfast area, which is on 2nd floor. We sat at the balcony, very nice.

Friendly and courteous staff, great central location on the island (scooter rental available on site). Very relaxing environment...conducive to both couples and families.
Relative to other places such as Phuket, Lanta is a safe place to ride a scooter, especially if you avoid high speeds and riding at night. As a result, the central location of the resort makes it a great place to be if you want to get out and explore for a few days!

Loved the beachfront villa. The beach was always so quiet and views were fantastic. Very cheap to rent a moped for the day and got to experience so much more of Koh Lanta. Staff couldn't do enough for you and the sunsets were stunning. Was worth every penny to stay in the villa. -

Da and her staff were great, the girls really do their best even if they don't understand. Da helped with and saved us money on day trips, all of which were brilliant, our favorite being Koh Rok.

We like this hotel very much- specially the personal. I have never
experienced such a kindness before. They made our stay the best of our
Thiland trip. First time in my life I was so sad to leave from the
hotel. They gave me handmade gift when we left, it was very heart-

Location quite close to the beach, facilities to buy excursions and
transfer to Saladan Pier for ferries from the reception's desk.
After noisy Patong beach and Phuket you can realy relax and feel
yourself like in countryside, but not in town. For noisy night-life
lovers it will not be favorite place. -

We enjoyed staying at Mook Lanta. Especially because of the great hospitality of Melissa and Nick, the owners of this resort. They will tell you where to find the best places like restaurants and bars. We absoloutely loved the lokation. The rooms were very close to the
beach and it was jungel feel about it. The owners, Melissa And Nic were
great! They where wery helpful and Nic Even took us around the island
in his car. The place has wifi and a bar to relax in. They live behind
the reseption so if you need anything after closing time it was no
problem at all.

We loved the position of the resort right on the beach with so many nearby inexpensive eating places right on the beach nearby. We enjoyed the pool area with the cocktail bar close by and the half price cocktail sessions every evening.
