Kikie and Sira(?-sorry for having the name wrong) are the most lovely and good looking :pTai women I have met! They arranged tickets, cooking course, jungle trip, taxi's, busses etc. for me without any extra costs! When traveling to Chiang Mai again I will "go home" to Kikie's house. The beds are good and at the terrace upstaires i met a lot of nice people. I recommend this place to everyone.
όλα τα σχόλια » nice and cozy hostel run by a super nice thai girl Kiki. The staff is very friendly and helpful and guests are also interesting. I met quite a few cool people when i was living there. And it's quite near Wat Chiang Mam(清曼寺）so it's easy to tell tuktuk or songtao driver the location. And it's located in a very quiet and nice lane so it's free from the noise and hussle of the night bars. Very friendly staff, excellent position right in inner-chang mai, facilities more than clean, calm area with good food-shops nearby. Ask for the rooftop accommodation! It's a bamboo quarter with 2 beds on the roof with an amazing view & just 80 baht! - just bring enough anti-insect repellant! The staff is more like a family than workers for you! Excellent stay, will come back!. I had a really good time in Kikies house! Kiki was so nice to everyone, she said, everything u need just come to kiki! I got all the information from her! Marco was very nice as well. I spent a two days camping with him. Cant even tell how brilliant it was. Fang was very friendly to everyone. Thank you so much for the good time in Chiang Mai! Ill be back!. Like anywhere in Thailand when you're paying 150b a night, you get what you pay for. This is not a flash place. However it is clean and comfortable, close to town and most importantly has Kikie running it. Kikie is absolutely awesome and made our time in Chiangmai. Her English is great and she was so lovely and helpful. Would happily stay there again. Everything! Kikie is an absolute legend. One of the kindest people we've met and she helped us out with so much over our stay, whether it be just directions or booking travel for our next stop. Would always go back if we returned and certainly would recommend to anyone going. Thank you so much for an awesome stay Kikie!. Everything was absolutely stunning. My friends and I enjoyed the whole stay at Kikie's so much. The staff is really friendly, helpful and gave us briliant tips for trips, which was really helpful for us since we spent only 2 days in Chiang Mai. Thanks to them, we had a great stay there! I recomend it to all!. Kikies house was fantastic. You do feel like part of the 'house' during your stay. The staff are great, a warm welcome and very helpful for booking any activities. Rooms were clean, beds were the most comfortable dorm bed ever slept on! Staff was very helpful, all spoke English and offered advice on toursand things to do in and around the city. They even took us themselves in their own car to visit Tiger Kingdom. Staff we're the best thing about this hostel, they always helped up out with any questions we had, went the extra mile to help us. Allowed us to leave out luggage there when we went north for 3 days, no hassle. Best staff I've ever encounter at a hostel. Everything. This place is fantastic! Sorry for waking Kikie up early in the morning when I arrived, but I actually received a warm welcome. It's easy to find. Temple and restaurant is near it. Room is quiet. Kiki is an extremely helpful and friendly person that gives lots of help an advice for bookings etc Good WiFi signal in homebase building. Very good price. Kind of basic rooms, but good value. people are very friendly, location is close to the old city but far from the streets with normal food. Nice area, restaurant aroud, bus station not far, big room. the location is convenient. Shower curtains will help to keep the badroom cleaner. Many mosquitoes in the facilities + surroundings... But that's everywhere in chang mai. I have nothing bad to say!. Honestly, nothing. Beds weren't amazing but that's Thai beds other than that nothing bad to say!. No garden, but obviously that's not a problem. No hot showers, though with these temperatures it really doesn't matter. nothing, the place was great. the hotel is not near the side of the road. you need spend a little time to enter the small branch to find it. Bathrooms were pretty dirty, i don't think they clean them very often. And they stuff the dorms full of beds, leaving barely any room to move. Otherwise, it was great. The actual room is different from the picture in booking,not as good as picture shows The shower facility not so good, and finally got broken Sometimes a Little difficult to find way back. That I'm staying here only a few days :). The dorm room was pretty hot but once again Kikie fixed it and gave us another fan!. i think i overpayed a little bit for the trip that suggested. A proper common area with books and sofa or chairs would be better. nothing. nothing. Due to the rainy season, the mattress is very wet, which makes us very uncomfortable. We found the 'Homebase' building to be more quiet than the Kikie's House building itself (very thin walls and noisy drunk backpackers coming back to their rooms/dorms in the middle of the night). The room at the Homebase building lacked a functional towel hanger. Facility is a little old. I booked in advance but was put in the homebase building about 3 mins walk away and would have preferred to be in the main part. There are cheaper options in the immediate area. Couldnt really get any help with booking a trekking trip. All they had was very touristic "Elephant riding / rafting etc". I read in another review here that the staff was very good at this - I think not. I stayed for 2 nights, but I had booked 4. I did not get any money back but I did not argue about that either. I think I overestimated the place and just got bored. the floor was very dirty in both rooms we stayed (in old and 2nd building). So desapointed by this guest house:we choose this one because of the great comment but it was awful. Sheets were not change, we put a towel on the floor because it was dirty after the shower .they ask us to pay 200thb because it is gonna be hard to wash it after putting on the floor. Not a nice service at all for a guesthouse we do not ask for a 5 stars service but the minimum will be great. the double room in house 2 is not comfortable even consider it as a budget place. the toilet is very small. the shower runs out of hot water frequently (because we live on the top floor). the floor is not flat and the drainage get blocked easily. u might have to put ur feet in dirty water if u use the restroom shortly after a shower. what's worse, there is no flush at the toilet!.
