Chern Bangkok Boutique Hostel is a 5-minute walk from Giant Swing and a 6-minute walk from Golden Mountain. It offers private and dormitory rooms with free WiFi. The hostel is a 12-minute walk to Grand Palace. It is a 15-minute walk to Khoasan Road and a 45-minute drive to Suvarnabhumi International Airport. On-site parking is available. All rooms come with air-conditioning and most have a flat-screen cable TV. Dormitory rooms have a shared bathroom while private rooms have an en suite bathroom. Towels and free toiletries are provided. Staff at the 24-hour front desk can assist guests with luggage storage. Breakfast is available from 07:00 hrs and a vending machine is always available. There is also a self-service laundry room a common area for lounging. Local restaurants can be found around the property.

This hotel was only days old when we stayed so we only booked our first night in Bangkok here as we were unsure what it would be like. Upon walking through the front door I immediately extended our stay for the duration of our trip. The hotel has a boutique flair to it, all the rooms have custom art work and there is designer lighting and furniture throughout. Though this place does not come across as the most luxurious the smart and minimalist design makes it very special. It was great that th.

Very large, open eating space with cutlery and hot water available to make your own food. Beautiful layout, very open spaced and brightly lit in a very new building. Thai proverbs are written on the walls throughout the hostel which was a very nice touch. The staff were so friendly and spoke very good English. The overall experience was excellent and I would . Top quality accomodation (beds, furniture, showers, kitchen). Best value for money in Bangkok for sure. Friendly staff. Hygiene! Solid and free internet It's very quiet, contrary to the rest of Bangkok. No noise and loud party people in that place. It's basically a hotel with dorm bunk beds, but they're the best bunk beds I had in 2 years of traveling. I've been to over 30 hostels in Australia - NZ - Thailand, and this is definitely top 3. Nice new hostel in a really good location, close to main attractions.Our room was very clean and modern with a mini fridge, air condition and safety deposit box. Room cleaned every day. 2 bottles of water every day. Wifi in the room. Hostel has self service laundry room. Staff is very friendy and gave us good tips. They speak very good english which is unusual for Thailand... Highly recommend this place!. Perfect place to stay if you don't want to be in the totally over-crowded Sukhumvit area. All important historical sights can be reached by foot and you get plenty of food just arround the corner. Allthough it is very busy down the street in front of the hotel, it is so quiet that you hardly can't believe you are in Bangkok! If we ever go to Bangkok again, we would defenitely stay there again!. O e chap on reception was extremely knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. The others were nice too but he really stood out. The shower in our was a little broken but still worker perfectly well, my fiancee mentioned it at reception and by the time he got back upstairs, it had been replaced by a new one. Very clean, lovely hotel. really really great hotel with great bed to sleep, clean rooms, self helped dinning room, and cute paintings. The location is great too, takes no more than 100 THB to The Grand Palace, China Town, Central World by taxi. And staffs are always helpful and speak good English. The price is also great! I will choose this hotel again if come to Bangkok with out any doubts. The staf were very friendly and helpful about how to do and how to get to the places we wanted to go. The hotel is well situated near the royal palace and the rooms are big comfortable and clean. It would be nice if it was possible to pay by card and offered the possibility to have breakfast or a place to cook something. It is a very recommendable place. it's a gem of a hostel/hotel as it has both dorms and private rooms. very clean and comfortable size rooms with aircon, spacious common area with laundry service and kitchenette, walkable distance from the river, khaosan rd and all must sees in the old town, chinatown etc. a taxi to siam or silom will cost you around 70-80B so it's really convenient. The staf were very friendly,helpful and knowledgeable about how to get there and how to do this and that, the hotel is well situated near the main atractions it is quiet and the rooms are big comfortable and clean. in aour swet we had everything we needed a frige a safe hot water, very nice design of the rooms i recomend this hotel to all. The staff is so friendly and gave us lots of valuable information to vivist Bangkok, the place really clean and is well located (10 minutes walking to the Esmerald Bhuda Temple and Grand Palace). Is a bit more expensive than other places in Thailand but also has all the facilities you are not going to find in other places to stay. Firstly, I would like to point out the location is excellent if you wanna travel to grand palace. It only takes approximately 15 minutes by walk. The design of hostel is simplified but calmness. Plenty of local food around. Staff was very helpful too and speak good English. If you stay for 2-3 days in Bangkok it's perfect choice and you get great value for money. You wouldn't expect such a good hostel in this good located area in the middle of the old part of Bangkok. the guy in the lobby is very friendly, help us about direction, and how to go some place. his english is pretty good. the room is nice, pretty big and clean. its new, and we love the soap and shampoo. Hostel it's brand new building so it is clean and very cosy. We have spent very good time there. As it was new taxi drivers had difficulty finding it, though the staff did provide written directions, but not all drivers can read. Tuk Tuk drivers were the worst. There is no bar, restaurant or cafe in the hotel, therefore you'll want to bring a drink back to the hotel if you want one and you'll have to hunt for breakfast in the morning. No negatives really. Due to the fact that the place is new a lot of taxi and Tuk Tuk drivers did not know how to get there. But that's only a very minor thing as its actually very accessible. It's hard to find for taxi drivers. They need to advertise themselves more so people know where it is. The building is close to Khao San road, but not one taxi driver in the city knows the street name. Not the hotels fault obviosuly but just some advice... Bargain really hard with tuk tuks, they will rip u off in Bangkok like nowhere else weve been. nothing, everything was perfect. No complaints. Nothing…. Nothing, it was exactly what we were looking for. If you want to go to the airport is quite far away but is possible to take a bus to the train which goes directly to there. The cups are not available in the washroom. Also I feel strengh of spilling water is stronger while shower. Nothing to say :). For the price they offer - nothing to complain about. The view from the room window is not great, very close to the surrounding buildings, however I doubt that somebody comes to Bangkok to spend time in the hotel :). very far from MRT or BTS station, while it's not easy to find taxy to go back to hostel. Not very well known location for taxy driver, unless you can speak thai a little bit coz they always have local terms for almost everything. no bars, restaurants or cafés nearby. there is no real hostel feeling, no comfortable common area for backpackers. not a single taxi or tuk tuk driver knew the hostel, so not always easy to get there. check in only from 14:00.. No restaurant or drinks (yet?). The direct surrounding of the Hotel is a little aweful... Cabinets in the dorm room wasn't very safe and locks were placed either too high or low, was so difficult to see the numbers on the combination lock. Because it is such a new hostel, there are not a lot real backpackers, the atmosphere is missing. they need a lift for 3rd floor. None. The wifi has good reception in all place and room, and it's for free, but the connection is with a temporary code a little bit tricky. I suggest a normal secure pwd with new Pwd every week. Location is not very easy to find and the shower need improve .if someone talk outside of room u can hear very clearly. to be honest? everything was good!!!. The kitchen only had a microwave, no range. Breakfast options can be more. Maybe some sandwichs can be added. A bit far from Metro / Skytrain (need to take tuk tuk to take you there), not many places to eat nearby. Wi-Fi was pretty slow one evening. Strangely, there is no breakfast at all! Also, the internet is patchy and when it cuts out (frequently) a new code is needed from reception - very annoying.... the immediate surroundings are not great but safe and the location is very central. the fixed price for the taxis quoted by them is not the best. go for a metered taxi. None. Think twice if u r planning to use public transportation. Its 30-40 mins walk or 100-150 tbh with taxi or tuktuk. no elevator but 4 floors, no real hostel feeling because there is no cozy common room. The traffic is not so convenience, although has the boat to centerworld shopping area but should walk to the terminal around 10-15 mins. Others, Taxi or Tuktuk...you know...and it's on the one-way road. nothing actually.
