Boasting a mountain backdrop, Glur Hostel is located in a peaceful area in Aonang. A 15-minute walk from the beach, it features an outdoor common area with a 42-inch flat-screen TV and DVD player. Glur Hostel offers private rooms and dormitories, all combining white furniture and bright blue walls. All rooms are air-conditioned and come with private lockers and bath amenities. The hostel provides free rental of a laptop, as well as books and reed mats. Travel arrangements can be organised at the tour desk. Wi-Fi is free in public areas, and free private parking is available on site. Guests can prepare their own meals in the shared kitchen area, which has a fridge and microwave. Coffee, tea, and hot and cold drinking water are provided free of charge. Glur Hostel is 45 minutes’ drive from Krabi Airport. It is a 15-minute boat ride from Tonsai and Railay beaches.

I liked everything! The bedroom is new,clean,with AC, each bed has its own mirror and big locker. The matress is new and comfortable. All of it makes the sleeping quality very good. The public area is beautiful, it has a big garden and a breakfast room open to the garden with a lot of facilities. Besides that, the hostel provides toast, jam, butter and fruits for free. The bathroom is also very clean and big. And the staff is really friendly and helpful.The location is nice if you want to be a .
όλα τα σχόλια » Glur has far exceeded my expectations even after reading great rewievs. Amazing setting, laid back, very clean, great hosts, comfy beds, great design, great great great. It's a 20 min walk from the beach but every other place thats closer to beach is on the main busy road full of shops, restaurants, and traffic noise. This is like the secret hidden paradise spot, so close to everything this town has to offer yet so removed from all the touristy nonsense. And I cant believe they dont charge more. I hadn't stayed at a hostel before, and I was pleasantly surprized by how awesome they can be. Glur was wonderful, the owners were very friendly, the breakfasts and other food at the Sandwich Market were delicious, and the grounds are well kept. They are still busy putting the pool in, and we unfortunately missed that, but once its finished I can't think of a better place to stay in Ao Nang. It's a little bit of a walk to the beachfront, but walking is good for you and there are lots of shops a. First of all, I was so happy because they provide us with free (complimentary) breakfast. I really like the common area, The staff are very helpful, and the hostel is very close to cheap restaurants and 7 eleven. Not just that, I have happy news to Muslim-travellers as this hostel is also close to a Mosque (5min walk) or you could just pray at the Hostel as they will let you borrow their reed mat for prayers. All the positive comments are true, I stayed here for 6 nights and it was really good, a very nice place, very clean bathrooms too, you also have some privacy because of the curtains so you dont feel like you are sleeping in a big room with other people, everything was nice. Glur Hostel is well designed, staff is helpful and know english fluently, what is not common in Asia. I recommend the stay there. They are a bit expensive in comparison to other hostels, but gulr is a very special place, so its worthy. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Accomodations are clean and confortable. Bathrooms are clean as well there is shampoo and gel available and warm water. Wifi internet is free and there is a common room with a kitchen (no stove). I paid for my breakfast less than in all ** and *** hotels I stayed in Phuket and Krabi, but that one was the best. Whole atmosphere is well thought through an having free drinking water, tea, coffee and fruit was so lovely!. Tour booking facilities. Food. Common space to hang out. Very nice place! I will come back. The private rooms are very basic but enough. It's one of the cheaper option in the area, wich is very expensive in general. Ao nang can disappointed you if you have high expectations about Souht Thailand. Be patient... the area is amazing. Nothing. Ummm... Not a single thing. Nothing. Will definitely stay at Glur Hostel again!!. The Long-hot-15mins walk to the beach. Other than that, nope. Location is a long way from the beach. Distance to town. Room has ants on the floor. Nothing to say. I prefer to stay in Railay, its a litlle more expensive, but I think it's worth the money. You can book tours from railay if you need it.
