The castle-like Youth Hostel Schaffhausen offers well-lit rooms, a 20-minute walk from the Munot and Old Town. Τι λέει ο κόσμος

The hostel (SYHA) was great - 500 year old castle on huge grounds (the main door is original too), with stables, childrens play area, outdoor foosball and some awesome trees. It's not so big as to get lost inside and there are not huge dorm rooms like other hostels. And the area was quiet, you wont even know there are other houses around. The managers were amazing - very friendly and had some great advice and local knowledge. There were a couple of families staying when I was and they seeme.
