I really enjoyed my stay at Edelweiss hotel.
Firstly is situated in the delightful town of Wengen - in the heart of the Jungfrau. The town has spectacular views of the mountains, which was quite breathtaking as I made the short walk from the train station to the hotel.

Daniel, the hotel manager was simply the most hospitable person ever! My
wife and I unfortunately did not pack any winter clothes and we
happenned to arrive during their first snow in over 30 years. Daniel let
us borrow some of us winter clothes for our stay which saved us and
allowed us to enjoy all that this beautiful area had to offer. He spent
some time when we first arrived, giving us a tour of the property and
explaining how all of the trains/aerial cable cars worked. It really

Hotel with lots of character. Super clean rooms, spotless in fact! Large spacious rooms with sitting area, small bathroom but ok for our needs. Fab view of the fairytale castle. I feel very glad that I choosed this hotel. The reception lady is so nice. When she knew we would get up very early and leave for the mountain in the morning, she prepared wonderful breakfast for us to take away in advance. We even didn't ask her... I love the hotel and the lady. - Cozy place, staff extremely helpful and friendly and nice environm

The breakfast buffet was excellent! Hotel staff was very very friendly from the second we got there (very rare in Europe). I've lived in Europe a long time and have been to a million hotels and this has been one of the best stays I've had during a ski season. - the family room was of a good size, beds were comfortable, view was great, morning break

Nice hotel on top of a pub. Good friendly staff. Breakfast is good and is served in the pub. Decent sized room with tea/coffee making facilities. Walking distance to both Interlaken Ost and West stations. Best hotel ever!!!
Although it is a little far from train station, it has a great view of the mountains and very quite neighborhood. There is a nice bar at the first floor. The beer they offered is quite good.
Employees are very nice. I said I would catch the first train to Jungenfraujoch, they even offer me a packed breakfast.

the view from our balcony was stunning. the room though small was really neat and kept well for the guests.
there is a restaurant in the hotel, and served good food too. outside hotels there are lots of shops and restaurants, if u just want to explore grindelwald this is a perfect place, and its a value for money too.

We loved the location, just across from the station and central to everything.
As 2 couples, we had the adjoining rooms with shared bathroom between rooms. This worked very well as each bed room had its own hand basin.
Included buffet b/fast was excellent offering a good variety including scrabbled eggs, bacon and lovely fresh bread. We also enjoyed the meals in the downstairs restaurant, where the staff were very friendly.
Big bonus, it has an elevator.

great people, stunning food, resturant is absolutely fabulous and value for money. this is a place i would reccommend anyone staying at view is great, room is spacious,has a balcony and breakfast was good! its been under new ownership for 1 year now and they have really turned it into an amaizing place - Excellent position overlooking Grindelwald v

It is a great hotel with very efficient, friendly staff. The rooms are very well kept, the beds have crip linen, the bathrooms are spanking new. We really enjoyed every bit of our stay. The views from different points in the hotel are breath taking. We were delighted with the choice we made. -

The staff is exemplary and the views are stunning. Annamarie and Justin are engaging and accommodating hosts while Carlos looks after every detail in the dining room. The hotel offers very easy access to the Kleine Scheidegg and the Jungfraujoch and has the most incredible views of the Jungfrau and the waterfalls along the Lauterbrunnen Valley walls. Very highly recommended.
